Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Today starts out still in the 5^th Line theme of Gates/hexagrams 40 and 37 which is in yesterday’s report, and then at 10:51am (00:51am GMT) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 6^th Lines bringing a theme of being caught up in future visions, just be careful not to trip over what is already at your feet. And ‘decapitation’ is in the air today, which always reminds me of the Queen in Alice in Wonderland, and her mantra of ‘off with their heads’. And this transit is about supporting the necessary destruction of inferior forces in positions of power so that liberation can take place. All of which is based in having the authority, coupled with the magnanimity to be able to recognise and remove from power only those which deserve such drastic treatment. During this transit we could see the willpower and the authority of the ego used to eject certain individuals from the group aiding in a legitimate defence of the community. Plus ‘purpose’ is grounding us, bringing into play the energy where to enhance the family its values need to be supported and recognised. This is the gift of not only recognising the potential emotional awareness and the inner meaning of the family, but of also having an innate appreciation for its values. There is also the possibility during this transit of extending friendships through the appreciation of value within the community. The notself will distort ego power and authority, ignoring the achievements of the family.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 12 and those details are in yesterday’s report, and then at 1:47pm (3:47am GMT) she will shift into Gate 15 ‘extremes’ bringing the focus onto ‘modesty’ which is about a certain quality of logical behaviour which in and of itself can lead to finding love, direction and identity through expressing the proper balance between extremes. And modesty in the traditional sense is always a matter of understanding and balancing extremes, and is where all possible extremes are lived out, which could include being busy or not, eating late, then early, sleeping long and short, generally living out and wanting to share all sorts of extremes of rhythm. At 23:38 (13:38 GMT) she will shift into Gate 52 ‘inaction’ bring the focus onto ‘keeping still mountain’ where logical temporary and self imposed inaction is vital to allow for the benefits that assessment and understanding bring. And this is the stillness of deep focused concentration that can be used to channel energy into what is logical. Also this need for stillness can at times be anti social, as concentration benefits from withdrawal, and as this is the fuel of passive energy functions, lack of focus can lead to restlessness and tension.

At 10:56am (00:56am GMT) Mercury continues retrograding into conjunction with the Sun in Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing reviewed communication in relation to ‘deliverance’ which is the point of transition between struggle and liberation. And this is pure willpower that has no direct access to awareness, and can be quite self focused, this is the archetype of that person who is alone, even in a crowded room, yet is pivotal to the survival and support of the community, as this is the type of will that sustains the principles of the community.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Today's planetary update

We begin our day here in Sydney as the Sun and Earth complete their pass through the 4^th Line of Gates/hexagrams 40 and 37, and at 11:37am (1:37am GMT) they will move into the 5^th Lines bringing a theme to the day of needing to be practical when doing anything or risk failing others projections, and be on the lookout for interactions with strangers of consequence, you never know what may be in store. And ‘rigidity’ is in the air today, which is about having the recognition that in order to support and achieve any sort of true liberation, all negative forces must first of all be rejected. This could be looked at as the archetype of the revolutionary who through pure willpower demands nothing less than absolute victory, and this is based in the power of the ego and will being maintained through the rejection of negative relationships within the community. Plus ‘love’ is grounding us, yes it’s a day to feel the love, and this all about having a natural and unaffected devotion to the family based in natural harmony, perfected sharing and potential emotional awareness. This is a transit where support can show up in life through the recognition of the natural harmony and sharing that is possible through friendship within the community. The notself will try to prove itself and maintain negative relationships out of weakness and being emotionally dependant, resulting in love turning to hate.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 35 and the details of that are in yesterday’s report, and then at 5:51pm (7:41am GMT) she will shift into Gate 45 ‘the gatherer’ bringing movement and focus to ‘gathering together’ which is all about naturally attracting generally beneficial like forces that will support manifestation and expression. This is the Gate of hierarchical dominance, and can be seen as the archetype of the king or queen, the empress or emperor, the autocratic tribal leader, who is busy looking after the welfare of the community. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I have’ or ‘we have’, and is an expression of the material wellbeing of the community, benevolently sharing materially with the community. At 3:48am on the 3^rd (17:48 GMT on the 2^nd) the Moon will shift into Gate 12 ‘caution’ bringing the focus onto individual ‘standstill’ which is about the empowering quality that restraint can bring to life. This brings into play a knowing that is often experienced through allowing time for meditation and inaction when confronting temptation. And this Gate is specifically about the empowerment that comes through not doing, it is also a gate of social caution as it has in innate wariness of the collective. This is also a transit where aloneness is accepted and expressed in its own unique way, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I try’ or ‘I wont try’, there is always going to be a maybe with this transit, depending on the mood and the spirit.

Well it’s the Gregorian calendar first day of Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere and the first day of Autumn for the Northern Hemisphere dwellers, I do love how the cycles of the seasons are juxtaposed north to south, it’s like the Yin and Yang is ever present, even seasonally. Today we are still moving through the 3^rd Line theme which is in yesterday’s report and at 12:22pm (2:22am GMT) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 4^th Lines of Gates/Hexagrams 40 and 37 bringing a theme of friendliness aimed at connecting with opportunities. And ‘organisation’ is in the air, which is about the willpower to recognise and support transformation as well as having the intuitive intellect to select and organise within the community for the purpose of maintaining one's deliverance, which is done by using the power of the ego to maintain separateness, once the community is organised and active. Plus ‘leadership by example’ is grounding us, and this is where any member of the family may take on a leading role through exemplary behaviour based in potential emotional awareness. This in turn can support the manifestation of the highest principles in every day and practical affairs within the community, and there is the possibility of the highest principles in all relationships resulting in a leadership role. The notself will ignore quality in favour of uncontrollable zeal, insensitive to leadership.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 8 which is in yesterday's report, and at 10:34am (00:34am GMT) she will shift into Gate 20, meeting up with Pluto in Gate 10 to Define the Throat and ‘G’ Centres with the Channel of awakening, a ‘design of commitment to higher principles’ bringing movement and focus to self expressed love, direction and identity, where there is nothing more important or self empowering in life than the recognition that to be yourself, regardless of the perceived cost is your highest priority. And purely by loving yourself and going your own way, following your own knowing in the now, you can in turn empower others, as expressing self love and self acceptance, leads to survival through perfected self expression. At 9:04pm (11:04am GMT) the Moon will shift into Gate 16 ‘skills’ bringing movement and focus to enthusiasm, bringing into play the great art of logically enriching life through the harmonic channelling of energy and expression. If this Gate had a voice, it would say ‘I experiment’, as it is all about finding some sort of logical understanding through focusing on, observing and practicing patterns. Here we can experience an expression of constant experimentation, and repetition, doing something over and over, which can eventually master it, finding perfected manifestation and expression. This is the hexagram of music, dance and art, yet is not specifically about the arts, as it is inherently about the skills for living, this is about having a talent for life. At 7:26am on the 2^nd (21:26GMT on the 1^st) she will shift into Gate 35 ‘change’ bringing movement and focus to abstract ‘progress’ where by design, progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on sensing and interaction. This is the manifestation of cyclical experiential energy, which always requires beginnings middles and ends, and this transit is all about satiating that appetite for change. If this had an archetype it would be the ‘jack of all trades’ who can also attain mastery, which is manifested through being experientially talented. If this gate had a voice it would say ‘I feel it’s time for a change’ so is always on the lookout for the next experience. This transit can also bring a lot of expectations into play, and being goal oriented will only lead to disappointment, as this is a Gate of the ‘wheel’ continually turning.

We begin our day with the Sun and Earth still making their way through the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 40 and 37, and the details of that are in yesterday's report. Then at 1:06pm (3:06am GMT they will move into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme of bumping into life and all sorts of things in order to discover material success. And ‘humility’ is in the air today, which is about using potential emotional awareness to adopt a calculated mode in deliverance, which is done in order to avoid attracting the attention of negative forces in the community. This is the recognition and subtlety to support and enjoy deliverance without having to flaunt it, and in this way the capacity of the ego can be engaged in order to avoid negative forces even if it means being alone. Plus ‘even handedness’ is grounding us, and this is where the success of any group is dependent on will power and maintaining order. And this is based in the ability to judge what behaviour is appropriate, and to then be able to react in a balanced manner to any transgressions. There is also the possibility here to have the sensitivity to know and recognise which behaviour is appropriate and supportive to relationships and the community. The notself will be egotistically and arrogantly demanding attention, incessantly testing the borders of acceptability or reacting with severity to others doing the same.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 2 which is in yesterday's report and at 1:15pm (3:15am GMT) she will shift into Gate 23 ‘assimilation’ bringing movement and focus to ‘splitting apart’ and this all about individual amorality, based in having the knowing, awareness and understanding which leads to acceptance of uniqueness and diversity. The very fact that an insight is unique and individual requires that it be metamorphosed in order to be able to communicate it’s essence to the collective, as for any insight to be recognised as empowering and truly of value to others it has to be successfully expressed. This gate is also about eliminating intolerance, as in an intolerant world it is hard for the unique individual to survive. Then at 11:58pm (13:58 GMT) she will shift into Gate 8 ‘contribution’ bringing the focus onto individualised ‘holding together’ and this is where an individual’s basic worth is realised and recognised through the actions of contributing their unique efforts to group goals. This is based in the individual possibility of metamorphosis leading to the expression of what you know you can do, and this is best done through going your own way and being the example, and whether anyone follows you or not is irrelevant as the individual knower is designed to be able to go it alone.

At 7:52am on the 1^st September (21:52GMT on the 31^st) Mars shifts into Gate 32 ‘continuity’ bringing mutation and maturation to ‘duration’ and this is where we can learn that the only thing that endures in life is change. This is based in the innate awareness potential that shows up as an instinctive knowing about how to adapt to life in the now without losing continuity. Also this is by its nature an extremely conservative energy, which is focused on supporting individual survival on the material plane, and is only able to instinctively adapt to revolution once it is accepted and established in the community. This transit also brings recognition and potential awareness around what can and cannot be transformed for material gain.

At 5:53pm (7:53am GMT) Jupiter continues retrograding into the 3^rd Line of Gate 25 bringing into play rules and laws in relation to individual ‘sensibility’ which is about recognising that unique and innocent action does not in and of itself guarantee success. This is the power of the ego, brought into play through a sense of identity, love and direction that can lead to withstanding failure, all the while still maintaining true to its innate nature. This could also be seen as the resilient power of the individualised spirit to withstand failure and shock. The notself will lose innocence through misfortune, failure and shock.

The week begins with the Sun and Earth still in the 1^st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 40 and 37, which I wrote about yesterday, and then at 1:49pm (3:49am GMT) they will shift into the 2^nd lines bringing a theme of shyness that can translate into boldness through talent and timing.

And ‘Resoluteness’ is in the air today, which is about the power and authority found in deliverance that enables and supports the shedding forever of the qualities which had been hampering liberation. This is the ego power found through aloneness to recognise the importance and potentially disruptive effect of others in the community. Plus ‘responsibility’ is grounding us, and this is based in the understanding of the principle where individual responsibility and potential emotional awareness are the foundation for successful cooperation and support. There is also the possibility of friendship developing through individual responsibility. The notself will be blinded to the disruptive effects of others, busily pointing what everyone else should be doing.

The Moon is still in Gate 27 and the details of that are in yesterday's report, and at 3:31pm (5:31am GMT) she will shift into Gate 24 ‘rationalising’ bringing movement and focus to the natural and spontaneous process of unique individual transformation and renewal. This is all about individual knowing and conceptualisation, which is quite a complex process, as it involves looking for ways to communicate unique awareness to the collective mind which just loves to generalise. Also before the inspiration can be communicated it needs to be given some sort of a rational form, and this is done by turning it over and over, pondering, until the energy is transformed into a rational form ready for empowered communication.

At 2:26am on the 31^st (16:26 GMT on the 30^th) she will shift into Gate 2 ‘higher knowing’ bringing the focus onto ‘the receptive’ which is all about individual receptivity being a primal base through which any unique response is determined, and is the root of empowered action through love, identity and direction. This is the most yin or receptive of all the hexagrams and is the archetype of what the ancients would have referred to as the higher self, and is all about direction, not awareness, yes, the gods do love a joke, in that the Centre of the self is unaware, it is just doing what it does, holding us together in the illusion of our separateness and giving us our own unique direction and in turn is filled with the knowing and potential to continue evolving through direction.

We begin today with the Sun and Earth finishing their annual pass through the Gates/hexagrams 59 and 55, and then at 2:32pm (4:32am GMT) they will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 40 and 37, bringing a theme for being introspective and busy investigating and researching to create a secure foundation. For the next six days the sun is shining in ‘aloneness’ and ‘deliverance’ which is the point of transition between struggle and liberation, and the Earth is grounding ‘friendship’ ‘the family’ and the manifestation both macro and microcosmically of the organic nature of communities. This is an unusual Sun and Earth transit as it Defines the ‘Ego/heart’ and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of community, a ‘design of a part seeking a whole’, and this brings will powered emotions to the fore, especially in relation to the community and family. Bargains based on emotional awareness and clarity will be a theme, and the right allies to bond with within the community is vital to the support and success of the age old bargain of ‘if you do that, I will do this’ which can be in relation to child rearing, food preparation, building shelter, earning money etc. These are the bargains that glue communities together and make sure everyone is cared for.

And ‘recuperation’ is in the air, which is about doing the work and then having the ability to relax and enjoy the fruits of ones labours, supported by the ego strength to enjoy being alone and take time out. Plus ‘the mother/father’ is grounding us today, and this is where a position of inherent respect ensures focus for the development of guidelines. This is where harmony through emotional awareness and clarity is the key to the successful maintenance of relationships, as it is only through harmony that the beauty and the values of the family and community can endure. The notself will not be able to be still, uncomfortable being alone and emotionally volatile.

The Moon is still in Gate 42 which I wrote about yesterday, and at 5:27pm (7:27am GMT) she will shift into Gate 3 ‘ordering’ bringing movement and focus to ‘difficulty at the beginning’ and this a creative generative life force energy where the fundamental challenge of individual initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order and knowing. This is the fuel for empowered mutation, or evolutionary growth and change, which starts out as a confused energy, in the sense that it is unsubstantiated, because like the individual insight it is unique and has to find its form. At 4:31am on the 30^th (18:31 GMT on the 29^th) the Moon will shift into Gate 27 ‘caring’ bringing the focus onto ‘nourishment’ and this is the fuel for the support and enhancement of the quality and the substance of all activities through responsive caring. This is a powerful generative life force as without nourishment and caring, nothing can survive, this is the drive to care and nourish as well as to be cared for and nourished.

At 7:01am on the 30^th (22:01 GMT on the 29^th) Saturn shifts into Gate 18 ‘correction’ bringing learning and education in relation to ‘working on what has been spoilt’ which is about the logical vigilance and determination to uphold and defend basic and fundamental human rights. There is also a focus of instinctive judgement based on what is dissatisfying to one's taste based on those standards and values that are a result of childhood conditioning and what doesn’t satisfy will be corrected, coming to understanding through the honing of critical skills.

Today starts with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 5^th Lines and you can read about that in yesterday's blog, then at 3:14pm (5:14am GMT) they will shift into the 6^th Line of Gates/hexagrams 59 and 55, bringing a theme of gazing off to the horizon, and possibly missing what is already there for you at your feet. And ‘the one night stand’ is in the air, which is about the generative tendency based on response to either personality or circumstances that leads to only accepting and supporting temporary unions in the community, that may be otherwise impossible or dangerous to continue. This is the archetype of the perfected relationship, whether it is for a moment or for an eternity, based in the creative power for intimacy regardless of conditions. Plus ‘selfishness’ is grounding us today, and this is about individual obsession with acquisition, that though alienating, is still indirectly empowering and beneficial materially to others. There is also the possibility of finding potential knowing, emotional awareness and uniqueness of spirit through materialism. The notself will be driven to move on, seeking impermanence and diversity, plus be mean spirited, not sharing the light of material abundance with anyone.

The Moon is still in Gate 21, see yesterday's blog for those details, and at 7:08pm (9:08am GMT) she will shift into Gate 51 meeting up with Jupiter and Uranus in Gate 25, Defining the Ego/heart and ‘G’ Centres with the Channel of initiation, a ‘design of needing to be first’ bringing movement and focus into play in relation to will powered love and direction, empowered to take leaps into the unknown. This is the archetypal warrior spirit, on a unique and individual journey, learning to walk the path alone, taking courage and leaping when the need calls. On the mundane plane this is a deeply competitive energy, looking to stretch beyond normal limits to feel the wonder of unique individual spirit. At 6:20am on the 29th (20:20GMT on the 28^th) she will shift into Gate 42 ‘growth’ bringing movement and focus to ‘increase’ and this is the fuel for the abstract expansion of existing resources which in turn maximise the development of the creative potential sensed in the beginning. This is also the Gate of bringing things to a close, so that after reflection the next step can be taken, as using this generative power to complete a cycle is the heart of the growth process.

At 10:51pm (12:51 GMT) Venus shifts into Gate 32 ‘continuity’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘duration’, where the only thing which endures is change. This is the instinctive awareness potential that supports adapting in the now without losing continuity. And this is a very conservative energy, particularly in relation to individual survival on the material plane, based in instinctive adaption to changes within the community.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don’t identify with them, it’s like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.

The Sun and Earth are still in the 4^th Lines of Gate/hexagrams 59 and 55 and the details of that are in yesterday's blog, then at 3:55pm (5:55am GMT) they will move into the 5^th Lines bringing a theme of being able to take your message to those people you don’t already know. And ‘the femme fatale or casanova’ is in the air today, which is all about having the power to use love to break down any barrier, creating lightness and support with this generative power. This can also show up as having the energy and power of sexuality to attract others in the community. Plus ‘growth’ is grounding us, bringing into play the unusual ability in a position of power to accept advice and transform it innovatively into knowing and potential emotional awareness. This is the unique gift when in a position of power that allows one to continue to lead rather than being perceived as being led, and also brings empowerment through the emotional strength and spirit derived from positions of power. The notself will be into sexual power, with the theme song ‘just a gigolo’, and the openness of the spirit is at risk from conditioning.

At 9:18am (23:18 GMT on the 26^th) the Moon shifted into conjunction with Jupiter and Uranus in Gate 25 ‘the spirit of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘innocence’, and the individual perfection of unique action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature. This is where being centred in the now depends on the quality of innocence, and innocence is tested and empowered in the fire of competitive energy. This is also the Gate of the shaman/priestess or spiritual warrior who loves all of existence without discrimination. At 8:37pm (10:37am GMT) the Moon will shift into Gate 17 ‘opinions’ bringing the focus onto ‘following’, and this is based in the ancient law that those who wish to rule must first know how to serve. There is also the possibility to be able to logically organise conceptual formulas, based in having the understanding to prepare it for future expression. This transit also brings out the archetype of the student or the teacher, where opinions must have a logical foundation to withstand testing and criticism. At 7:54am on the 28^th (21:54 GMT on the 27^th) the Moon will shift into Gate 21 ‘the hunter/huntress’ bringing the focus onto the will and ‘biting through’, and this is where we could see the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference in the community. This is the fuel that supports the power for life on the material plane, and demands to be in control of food, clothing and shelter. This Gate hates to have anyone looking over its shoulder, as control brings fulfilment.

At 00:07am on the 28^th (14:07 GMT on the 27^th) the North and South Nodes will move into the 1^st Lines of Gate 38 and 39 bringing a shift in the perception of the environment to one of seeing an energised unique individual empowered knowing. Today we start out still moving through the 3^rd Line which I wrote about yesterday, and then at 4:36pm (6:36am GMT) the Sun and Earth will move into the 4^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 59 and 55 bringing a theme of friendly networking for opportunities. And ‘brotherhood/sisterhood’ is in the air, where the dropping of barriers to union supports and establishes a more universal union in the community, based on the generative power derived from responding to non sexual intimacy. Plus ‘assimilation’ is grounding us today, based in the establishment of a unique framework that balances individual principles with energy and leads inevitably to empowerment, expansion and prosperity. This also brings recognition of the possible spirit that comes when emotional awareness potential, knowing and energy are balanced and principled. The notself will be stuck in ideas never taking action, unrestrained and ignoring awareness at the risk of the spirit.

The Moon is finishing her monthly pass through Gate 63 which I wrote about yesterday and at 10:36am (00:36am GMT) she will shift into Gate 22 ‘openness’ bringing movement and focus to individual ‘grace’ as a quality of behaviour and knowing best suited in handling mundane and trivial situations. This is where the potential to realise unique spirit comes through the emotional awareness and possibility to share that spirit with others, all of which needs social skills to gain public access, empowering others with individual emotional awareness and knowing. At 9:58pm (11:58am GMT) the Moon will shift into Gate 36 ‘crisis’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the darkening of the light’ with the potential emotional awareness to see the sense of the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. This brings an abstract potential of recognition through reflection on feelings that leads to the possibility of change, and looking for ways for conceptualisation to manifest directly as action.

So stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The Sun and Earth are moving through the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 59 and 55, the details of that is in yesterday's blog, then at 5:16pm (7:16am GMT) they will move into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme of trial error that can lead to materially successful discoveries. And ‘openness’ is in the air today, where the search for identity, generative security and support can only be achieved through the dropping of barriers, in order to define oneself through union or communion. This is a creative fuel that can bring empowerment through union and intimacy with others in the community. Plus ‘innocence’ is grounding us today, and here, the claim ‘I was only following orders’ is a genuine defence. And when the individual form is correct and attempts at empowered knowing and actualisation have been disciplined within guidelines, failure cannot be personally attributed. There is also the emotional possibility to have the awareness to recognise that despite one's best efforts, failure is possible and does not need to affect the unique spirit. The notself will try to find empowerment in promiscuity, struggling to protect oneself at the expense of others.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 55 which I wrote about yesterday, and then at 11:50am (1:50am GMT) she will shift into Gate 37 ‘friendship’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the family’ and the support for the manifestation macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. There is also a potential emotional awareness with this very social and communal energy, focusing sensitivity ready for communal expression, and there is also the possibility of offering friendship and support to others. Then at 11:13pm (13:13GMT) the Moon will shift into Gate 63 ‘doubt’ bringing the focus onto recognition of ‘after completion’ where in the spiral of life, all ends are beginnings. This is a logical mental pressure the fuels doubt, suspicion and distrust, all of which can be both projected out into the world or turned inward. And when able to find understanding and move past the doubts, this mental pressure can bring logical inspiration.
