I have had a lot of people asking me how I’ve been feeling throughout my pregnancy, some of the questions have been, “Have you been getting any morning sickness?”, “How about reflux or indigestion?” And the truth is I really haven’t experienced any morning sickness or indigestion at all. There were a few days earlier on in my pregnancy where I did experience mild nausea after smelling certain things, but that’s about it. For me the only time I have felt even remotely nauseous is when I haven’t eaten, and actually I have always been like that, even before pregnancy.

The only thing I can put this ease with my pregnancy down to is that I understand and follow my Primary Health System (PHS), which is a part of my Human Design that shows my very own personal health strategy. I’ve been following my PHS for a number of years now and it has improved my overall health and wellbeing beyond measure. It has fine tuned my system and as a result my senses have really come alive.  This has had such an amazing impact on my life that I am now in my third and final year of study to become a fully certified PHS practitioner. And I already practice as a PHS overview analyst.

My PHS has shown me how I’m best designed to digest my food.  Healthy digestion is everything and we are all different in that respect.  I have also learnt that I have what is called an “active” body type which means that I am designed to naturally eat a lot, all the time, (but that’s no surprise to the people who know me! and no, I am nowhere near being overweight except for my pregnant belly). These days I know to always carry around with me some food that suits my body, so I can eat on the go otherwise I start to feel sick. It’s all about knowing how I fuel my body so it functions effortlessly and easily.

Needless to say my pregnancy is enjoyable & is running smoothly, my digestion is great because I follow my PHS which shows me the way I am designed to digest both food and life. So fortunately I haven’t suffered from any of the unpleasant symptoms pregnancy can sometimes produce. …. Of course my belly is not big enough yet to have all my organs squashed into my rib cage!  So I’ll let you know how that goes as I expand!

And I will see you next time, with a story about a little spider that had a big impact! …
