Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. We start the day still moving through the 6^th Line theme of Gates/hexagrams 64 and 63 and at 5:10am on the 10^th (19:10GMT on the 9^th) the Sun and Earth shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 47 and 22 bringing a theme for digging into things and researching so that there is a secure foundation to develop from. And for the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘realising’ and ‘oppression’, which is about an abstract restrictive and adverse state that is a result of internal weakness or external strength or both. And the Earth will be grounding in ‘openness’ and ‘grace’, which is all about the unique and individual quality of behaviour best suited in handling mundane and trivial situations.

And ‘taking stock’ is in the air today, bringing the sense and ability in times of hardship to concentrate on eradicating the negative factors that have lead to abstract oppression. This is where realising that negative thoughts have to be eradicated leads to reconceptualisation. Plus ‘second class ticket’ is what is grounding us today, and this is about the unique ability to accept and enjoy a subordinate position. This is based in the knowing and emotional awareness that allow for potential emotional awareness through enjoying the individuality that can be expressed in a subordinate position. The notself will deludedly think the whole world is against them, inevitably humiliated through trying to claim a first class seat with a second class ticket.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 6 and at 4:16pm (6:16am GMT) she shifts into Gate 46  ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self. Then at 1:10am on the 10^th (15:10GMT on the 9th) the Moon shifts into conjunction with Saturn in Gate 18 ‘correction’ bringing the focus onto ‘working on what has been spoilt’ and here there is the logical vigilance and determination to knowingly uphold and defend basic and fundamental human rights. This is about understanding and judging what is dissatisfying so that it can be corrected to be more tasteful for future sharing. Taste is the focus of judgement on dissatisfaction, based on the essential learning of standards and values we received in our early years, so as to know what needs correction, which is a lifelong process, and without this drive for perfection which hones the critical skills there is no understanding.

At 10:59pm (12:59GMT) the North and South Nodes move into the 6^th Lines of Gates 58 and 52 shifting the environmental view to ‘carried away’ and ‘peacefulness’. And the themes of our view will include the logical tendency to practicality that while thoroughly enjoying external stimulation, also has the understanding and instinct to draw back when independent integrity is threatened. This is the energy and drive to fuel independent integrity that will maintain its identity in times of stimulation. Plus there is a harmonic, balanced and logical attunement that is at ease regardless of the situation, and this understanding is based in stillness and lack of pressure. The notself will over identify with stimulation, losing identity, turning to delusion as a substitute for genuine tranquillity.

The North Node in Gate 58  is also meeting up with Saturn in Gate 18 Defining the Root and Spleen Centres with the Channel of judgement, a ‘design of insatiability’ and this is a logical pressure and drive to find tasteful knowing. And this can be a very critical transit, and the key to giving and gaining understanding is to accept that it is best to not offer to share criticisms unless asked. Challenging life is not every ones cup of tea, and if the criticism has been invited it will be well received. There is also an insatiable drive for perfection here, which can turn into analysis paralysis, so watch out for that one.  And remember judgement for judgement sake is best applied in the public sector, and not applied to oneself or other individuals.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
