Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins with us this experiencing the 1^st Line theme of Gates/hexagrams 45 and 26, and then at 12:09pm (2:09am gmt) the Sun and Earth will move into the 2^nd Lines bringing a theme for being shyly self involved in your natural talents until someone comes and calls on you to share. And ‘consensus’ is in the air today, and this is the where the action and expression of gathering together is strengthened by acknowledged common interest. All of which is based in the inventiveness to establish supportive techniques which by sharing common ground can be assessed. This is where the community gains a material direction through the ego expression of techniques for the benefit of others. Plus ‘the lessons of history’ are grounding us, and here we recognise the will powered energy and depth of reflection that supports learning from the past in anticipation of the future. All of which is based in the instinctive power of the ego to mature through experience over time. The notself will rebel against conformity, refusing to accept the material techniques of others, feeling an urge to take action despite the lessons of history.

And the Moon is still moving through Gate 64 and then at 10:36am (00:36am gmt) she shifts into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing movement and focus to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.

At 8:07pm (10:07am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 6 ‘friction’ bringing movement and focus to ‘conflict’, as the fundamental design component of progress, and this is based in the law of nature that new growth cannot exist without some sort of friction to stimulate it. This is a very complex energy as it has an enormous awareness potential, bringing out feeling, emoting and sensitivity, which are all part of our evolved genetic defence reflex. This is a powerful emotional possibility and is also about supportive boundaries, focusing on who is in and who is out, and developing awareness of the timing of dropping barriers to support intimacy. Also this transit clearly shows that it is only through authentic awareness that the true nature of intimacy can be transformed.

At 5:35am 10^th (19:35gmt 9^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 2:52am 10^th (16:52gmt 9^th) Venus shifts into Gate 20 ‘the now’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘contemplation’ and this is about the recognition and expression of unique individual awareness in the now, which in turn transforms understanding into right action. This is all about seeing life in the present moment, life has to be now! It’s being totally absorbed in knowing in the present moment, instantaneously speaking, acting or becoming clear. There can also be melancholy over the world as it is now, with a deep need to care for oneself first.
