Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins with the Sun and Earth in the 6th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 5 and 35, and then at 9:47pm (10:47am gmt) they will shift into the first Lines of Gates 26 and 45 bringing a theme for investigating and digging into things to see if there is a secure foundation. For the next 6 days the Sun will be shining in ‘the egoist’ and ‘the taming power of the great‘ where we will see the maximisation of the power of memory applied to the nurturing of continuity. And the Earth will be grounding us in ‘the gatherer’ and ‘gathering together’ bringing the natural and generally beneficial attraction of like forces.

And ‘a bird in the hand’ is in the air today, and this is about having the ability to recognise and enjoy the dreams engendered by accomplishment within the community in order to avoid the delusion of unlikely potential. All of which is based in having the will and ego which supports and transcends limitation through dreaming through time. Plus ‘canvassing’ is grounding us, and here we get to see in play the manifestation of the ability to support, promote and develop gathering together through education which can metamorphasize the uncommitted. And this is based in the material direction, transformation and expression lying in sction and timely education. The notself will refuse to be satisfied resulting in foolhardy risk taking, overzealously proselytizing resulting in alienation.

The Moon is still shifting through Gate 8 and at 2:08pm (3:08am gmt) she will shift into Gate 20 ‘the now’ bringing movement and focus to ‘contemplation’ and this is about the recognition and expression of unique individual awareness in the now, which in turn transforms understanding into right action. This is all about seeing life in the present moment, life has to be now! It’s being totally absorbed in knowing in the present moment, instantaneously speaking, acting or becoming clear. There can also be melancholy over the world as it is now, with a deep need to care for oneself first.

At 1:16am 10th (14:16gmt 9th) the Moon shifts into Gate 16 ‘skills’ bringing movement and focus to 'enthusiasm', based in the great art of logically enriching life through the harmonic channelling of energy and expression. If this Gate had a voice, it would say ‘I experiment’, as it is all about finding some sort of logical understanding through focusing on, observing and practicing patterns. Here we can experience an expression of constant experimentation, and repetition, doing something over and over, which can eventually master it, finding perfected manifestation and expression. This is the hexagram of music, dance and art, yet is not specifically about the arts, as it is inherently about the skills for living, this is about having a talent for life.

At 11:04pm (12:04gmt) Mercury retrogrades into Gate 34 ‘power', bringing communication in relation to ‘the power of the great', where unique individuated power is only great when its display or use serves the common good. This is pure centred unconditional creative generative power, ready for display and available for use through response, this is the knowing power to be independent and the energy of individual conviction. This is also the essential fuel for individuation, and determines whether or not individuation can be maintained, looking for ways that awareness can become deeds.
