Today's planetary update

Date: 9th August 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs (note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today is a 4th Line day as the Sun and Earth continue their journey through Gates/hexagrams 7 and 13 bringing a theme for connecting with friends and networks, and this might just bring some good opportunities. And ‘the abdicator' is in the air today, which is based in the willingness and understanding to accept the logical judgement of the people and/or the rule of the law. This also can be the grace and wisdom to step down from power for the benefit of the whole, which comes from the capacity to recognise and to be able to accept the judgement of others. Plus ‘fatigue' is grounding us today, and this can show up as the point of exhaustion eventually reached when one is too tired to fight, as openness can lead to exhaustion and the need for silence to revive the senses. There can also be an abstract renaissance that comes with reflection and results in a truce that brings its eventual reinvigoration. The notself will be forced from power by overwhelming opposition , emotionally vulnerable and exhausted.

The Moon is moving through Gate 56 ‘stimulation' bringing movement and focus to ‘the wanderer' and here stability comes through movement, or the sensing and perpetuation of continuity through the linking of short term activity. This is about the metamorphosis of abstract concepts in language, just remember this is about the expression of ideas, and ideas are not facts, ideas are never a solution, but always a journey. At 12:36pm she will shift into Gate 31 meeting up with the Sun in Gate 7 Defining the Throat and ‘G' Centres with the Channel of the Alpha, a ‘design of leadership for good or bad' bringing the focus onto democratic style leading through understanding logical patterns and trends that will carry us into the future. And great efficiency can result from recognising and attuning to the rhythm of the collective , and if the leader is out of touch with the needs of the people, they will surely lead us to disaster. At 9:36pm the Moon will shift into Gate 33 meeting up with the Earth in Gate 13 Defining the Throat and ‘G' Centres with the Channel of the Prodigal and here is where every cycle of life makes sense in the end, no matter how abstract the experience. For this to be successful patience and surrender to what is going on in the now is required, as by sensing and absorbing an experience fully, hindsight can then be used to pass on the learnings.

At 7:11pm Jupiter continues its retrograde journey moving into the 5th Line of Gate 25 ‘recuperation' where rules and laws can be reviewed in relation to the need when individual innocence is being sapped of vitality, healing is always the first priority. This Line brings the knowing and ability to recognise the inner meaning of an affliction and to be empowered enough to withdraw until it is healed, recognising the power of the spirit to heal and be healed. The notself will be the hypochondriac.

At 10:59pm Uranus continues its retrograding journey into the 2nd Line of Gate 25 ‘the existentialist' where those mental sidetracks can be reviewed in relation to devotion and dedication to the now. This is the recognition and perfection of the individuated intellect through concentration and focus on what is, rather than, what could be, or has been. Resulting in self empowerment where the innocence of the self and its protection can only be maintained with love and knowing in the now. The notself will be lacking innocence and attracting projections.
