Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day in the very early stages of the 5^th Line theme of Gates/hexagrams 2 and 1, and then at 7:13am 9^th (21:13gmt 8^th) they will shift into the 6^th Lines bringing a theme for being too busy looking at the horizon and missing what you have already got, it’s also a good time for some rest and recuperation. And ‘fixation’ is in the air today, and this is about being unable or unwilling to see the whole creative generative picture of love, direction and identity in the now. All of which is based the individual and unique intellect being absorbed in constant rationalisation, as this is a higher knowing that is extremely narrow in its receptivity. Plus ‘objectivity’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the unique and clear assessment of individual creative value in the now, all of which is based in an empowered knowing clarity for the creative expression of love, direction and identity. The notself will pervert awareness in favour of a need for security, and subjectivity in self expression may lead to creative frustration.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 39 and then at 4:38pm (6:38am gmt) she will shift into Gate 53, meeting up with Jupiter, Mercury and Venus in Gate 42 Defining the Root and Sacral Centres with the Channel of Maturation, a ‘design of balanced cyclic development’. Here we see the creative generative fuel that drives abstract cycles, so if you are going to begin anything, be very cautious sensing whether to or not, as once you have committed yourself to an endeavour, there can be a genetic imperative to complete it. And if whatever is started is not followed to its natural conclusion, you will only meet the same problem again later in another form, history will just repeat itself. These repeating cycles are all about coming to a state of maturity and wisdom, which can only ever be attained steadily over time.

At 2:54am 9^th (16:54gmt 8^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 62 ‘detail’ bringing movement and focus to ‘preponderance of the small’, which is all about expressing logical caution, patience and detail to produce understanding and excellence out of limitation. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I think’, which is based in being able to communicate and share concepts from a mechanical capacity for detail. This is where opinions can manifest as words, and things can be given their names, solidifying their existence in the Maia, which aids the collective in understanding the world, as without names, there can be no understanding or sharing, this is the Gate of the development of language which is the common ground for sharing of the human experience.

At 11:16am (1:16am gmt) Mercury and at 5:14pm (7:14am gmt) Venus  both shift into Gate 42 ‘growth’ bringing movement and focus to ‘increase’ and this is the fuel for the abstract expansion of existing resources which in turn maximises the development of the creative potential sensed in the beginning. This is also the Gate of bringing things to a close, so that after reflection the next step can be taken, as using this creative generative power to complete a cycle is the heart of the growth process. And if there was a Mantra for this Gate it would be ‘one thing at a time’, which is about fully completing one thing before you move on, so as not to end up caught in a cycle of trying to tie up loose ends.
