Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

At 9:27am 8^th (22:27gmt 7^th) the Sun and Earth shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 22 and 47 bringing a theme for investigating and digging into things to ensure there is depth and a secure foundation. And for the next six days the Sun will shine in ‘openness’ and ‘grace’ bringing a quality of behaviour that is best suited in handling mundane and trivial situations. The Earth will be grounding us in ‘realising’ and ‘oppression’ bringing a restrictive and adverse state as result of internal weakness or external strength or both.

And ‘second class ticket’ is in the air today, which is about recognising the unique and individual ability of being able to accept and enjoy a subordinate position. All of which is based in the emotional awareness, clarity, knowing and mood to enjoy a subordinate position. Plus ‘taking stock’ is grounding us, and here we get to recognise the abstract conceptual ability in times of hardship to sense and then concentrate on eradicating the negative factors from the past that have lead to uncertainty and oppression. All of which is based in realising that negative thoughts are just thoughts, with no true energy, except what the mind tries to give them, and thus have to be eradicated. The notself will try to claim a first class seat with a second class ticket, resulting in humiliation, deludedly seeing the world as being against them.

At 7:56am 9^th (20:56gmt 8^th) The Sun and Earth shift into the 2^nd Lines bringing a theme for being shyly involved and absorbed in natural talents until the right call comes for them to be shared. And ‘charm school’ is in the air, and here we recognise the abstract belief that style can mask unique individual nature. All of which is based in the ability to successfully delude the knowing of oneself and others, through the possibility to attracting others with a moody emotional style.

Plus ‘ambition’ is grounding us. And this all about recognising the conceptual ambition and drive to sense and overcome personal oppression in order to achieve certainty and security. All of which is based in realising that to be abstractly busy is mentally healthy. The notself will forgo awareness in favour of style, unable to sense when and which activity is healthy.

At 10:13am 8^th (23:13gmt 7^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 42 ‘growth’ bringing movement and focus to ‘increase’ and this is the fuel for the abstract expansion of existing resources which in turn maximises the development of the creative potential sensed in the beginning. This is also the Gate of bringing things to a close, so that after reflection the next step can be taken, as using this creative generative power to complete a cycle is the heart of the growth process. And if there was a Mantra for this Gate it would be ‘one thing at a time’, which is about fully completing one thing before you move on, so as not to end up caught in a cycle of trying to tie up loose ends.

At 9:35pm (10:35am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 3 ‘ordering’ bringing movement and focus to ‘difficulty at the beginning’ and this is a creative generative life force energy where the fundamental challenge of individual initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order and knowing. This is the fuel for empowered mutation, or evolutionary growth and change, which starts out as a confused energy, in the sense that it is unsubstantiated, because like the individual insight it is unique and has to find its form. Here we also get to see the fulfilment of knowing through individual expression, where being a unique example brings changes and mutation to all who come into contact with it, as this is the basis of cultural mutation.

At 8:55am 9^th (21:55gmt 8^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 27 ‘caring’ bringing movement and focus to ‘nourishment’ and this is the fuel for the support, defence and enhancement of the quality and substance of all activities through responsive caring. This is a powerful generative life force bringing energy for nourishment, as without nourishment and caring, nothing can survive, this is the drive to care and nourish as well as to be cared for and nourished. This is also the Gate of compassion, bringing the power to care for the weak, the sick and the young. And here we get to see pure impressive altruism in action, if this Gate had an archetype, it could be Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

At 6:43am 9^th (19:43gmt 8^th) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Uranus is Gate 25 ‘the spirit of the self’ bringing communication and sidetracking in relation to ‘innocence’, and the individual perfection of unique action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature. This is where being centred in the now depends on the quality of innocence, and innocence is tested and empowered in the fire of competitive energy. And despite outward appearances the true competition here is whether the self can maintain its unique innocence despite circumstances. This is also the Gate of the shaman/priestess or spiritual warrior who loves all of existence without discrimination, this is where a flower can be loved as profoundly as a human, and this quality of love can be projected as cool or cold, and it is neither. The true mystical potential of this love is both transcendent and universal, and is based in the knowing that the spirit is always being tested. This is also the Gate of scars, which brings the potential of being wounded, exemplified by the warrior fool who leaps empty handed into the void, with only its innocence to carry it, with the hope that it will land on its feet. And yes the spirit can be broken, but triumph and survival enrich the spirit and result in the wonder of being.

At 00:14am 9^th (13:14gmt 8^th) Venus shifts into Gate 19 ‘wanting’ bringing the values and worth into play in relation to ‘approach’ where the fact that all things are interrelated is apparent and manifested through the support and action of approach. This is the fuel for recognising sensitivity and for how our social needs are supported within the community, and with this Gate the remedy for over-sensitivity is to have a full refrigerator. This Gate is the fuel for the mystical way, and brings a spiritual leaning which at the mundane level can be over sensitive and easily disturbed. This is also the fuel of our social needs, where we get to see the drive to make sure that a community exists and that there is a place within the community for this energy to be supported. And this transit brings a certain need, but is not about wanting or needing someone specifically, it is the energy to support and the need to have the support of the community available, based on having social access without restriction.

At 00:13am 9^th (13:13 8^th) Jupiter shifts into Gate 21 ‘the hunter/huntress’ bringing rules and laws into play in relation to the will and ‘biting through’, and this is where we could see the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference in the community. This is the ego fuel that supports the power for life on the material plane, and demands to be in control of food, clothing and shelter. This Gate hates to have anyone looking over its shoulder, the hunter/huntress has the ego drive to dominate, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I control’ as when in a situation where it has no control, it’s power can never be fulfilled. This is where control supports and brings fulfilment, and if not in control of how a living is earned, success is always far away.
