Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth moving through the tail end of Gates/hexagrams 35 and 5, and then at 12:37pm (2:37am gmt) they will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 45 and 26 bringing a theme for investigating and researching to ensure that there is a secure foundation to build on. For the next six days the Sun is shining in ‘the gatherer’ and ‘gathering together’ with the natural and generally beneficial attraction of like forces. And we are being grounded in ‘the egoist’ and ‘the taming power of the great’ where the maximisation of the power of memory is applied to the nurturing of continuity.

And ‘canvassing’ is in the air today, and this is the expression of the ability to support, promote and develop gathering together through the education of the uncommitted. All of which is based in the manifestation and support of the material direction, which lies in the empowered education of the tribe or community. Plus ‘a bird in the hand’ is grounding us, and here we recognise and support the ability to enjoy the dreams engender by accomplishment in order to avoid the delusion of unlikely potential within the community or family. All of which is based in the ego which transcends limitation through dreaming. The notself will be overzealous and aggressive in education, seeing accomplishment as a license for foolhardy risk taking.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 59 and then at 3:27pm (5:27am gmt) she will shift into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.

At 1:03am 9^th (15:03gmt 8^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 64 ‘confusion’ bringing movement and focus to 'before completion', and this is about the recognition that transition, like giving birth, requires a determined strength for the passage through. This transit brings an abstract mental pressure to sense and resolve inspiration and find awareness out of experience. In this context confusion is not a negative thing, it simply means that the mind is busy, busy, busy with a great deal of data, most of which is superfluous. And this data requires filtering to relieve the pressure and find the gems of clarity to be shared. This is also about fully experiencing the present in order to reflect upon it, when it is past.

At 4:48pm (6:48am gmt) Mercury shifts into gate 35 ‘change’ bringing communication into play in relation to abstract ‘progress’ where by design, progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on sensing and interaction. This is the manifestation of cyclical experiential energy, which always requires beginnings middles and ends, and this transit is all about satiating that appetite for change. If this had an archetype it would be the ‘jack of all trades’ who can also attain mastery, which is manifested through being experientially talented. If this gate had a voice it would say ‘I feel it’s time for a change’ so is always on the lookout for the next experience. This transit can also bring a lot of expectations into play, and being goal oriented will only lead to disappointment, as this is a Gate of the ‘wheel’ continually turning.

At 3:41am 9^th (17:41gmt 8^th) Pluto moves into the 3^rd Line Of Gate 58 ‘electricity’ bringing truth into play in relation the tasteful and logical individual whose electric vitality creates fuel for its own stimulation and is not dependent on sharing with others. all of which is based in having the understanding and energy to fuel logical independent stimulation. The notself will be dependent on others for energy and stimulation.
