Today's planetary update

Date: 7th April 2010

The Sun and Earth have now moved into the 3rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 51 and 57 bringing into play an energy to support a process of trial and error, that when not viewed as making mistakes can lead to discovery. Also adaptation is available, and comes about through a real life sustaining awareness that is all about being able to think on your feet and thus creates opportunities. And there is power in being spontaneous in times of challenge. Acute clarity is also in the air, which eliminates doubt and leads to perfected intelligence and the possibility of perfected intuition. The notself will be destabilised and disturbed.

The Moon is in Gate 61 meeting up with Venus in Gate 24, defining the Head and Ajna Centres with the Channel of Awareness, the ‘Design of a Thinker'. This brings an energy for sudden and unexpected inspiration, and a pressure to examine life's great mysteries, and new ways of exploring new intellectual areas can be created. Then at 3:31pm the Moon moves into Gate 60 ‘acceptance', where the acceptance of limitation is the first step in transcendence. And this brings a potential to bring lasting changes into the world, transmutation is a possibility, and it cannot be forced or controlled, true transmutation is only available if and when the timing is right.

Venus has moved into Gate 24 ‘rationalising', bringing an energy for the natural and spontaneous process of transformation and renewal, which will have its greatest impact after clarity has been reached. This is a time when life's mysteries will be in focus, just be careful not to get carried away trying to solve them, as it is only through relaxing about whatever is mysterious that the penny can eventually drop, and resolution arrives.

Pluto has now turned retrograde in the 2nd Line of Gate 58 ‘perversion', where it has been sitting for a while, the retrograde motion slows things down and makes sure that we have really got what this transit is about. And don't be put off by the word perversion, this I'Ching keynote is not about the popular view of perversion. What it is about in this context is bringing a focus onto our truth around the zest for life and what brings joy and what is stimulating and what is not, it's all about a better life and yes there can be lots of indulgence and decadence, and as long as it is correct for you this can be lots of fun, if it is not correct for you, your overindulgence will leave you feeling sorry for yourself.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don't have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It's your life!
