Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. The Sun and Earth have just now shifted into the 4^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 64 and 63 bringing a theme of connecting with your friends and networks, where you just never know what opportunities might pop up. And ‘conviction’ is in the air today, this is about making sense of and understanding inspiration and the very nature of transition it requires, which can be symbolised by the phases of the Moon, assuredly convinced by its very process that it will triumph, waxing to its zenith. This could also be seen as having a natural abstract assuredness, that when dealing with mental pressure and confusion, trusts that through refection the process will eventually result in realisation and sharing. Plus ‘memory’ is what is grounding us today, and this is about finding inspiration and understanding through undertaking a detailed accounting of the achievement process itself. And this is based on having a logical information base that can become a formula and prepare a new order for the future. There is also a mental pressure to explore any doubt in detail, so as to lay a foundation for eventual formulising and sharing. The notself will be lost in doubt and confusion, forgetting details and paying the price.

Then at 6:51am on the 8^th (20:51GMT on the 7^th) the Sun and Earth will move into the 5^th Lines bringing a theme where strangers can be open to your influence, just be practical, or you may fail projections. And ‘promise’ is in the air today, which is about the abstract values promised in any new order and how they are made sense of by being demonstrated through harmonic interactions with others. This is where mental pressure to resolve inspiration so that is can be shared strengthens the justification for the struggle. There can also be some confusion over which values and relationships from the past can bring harmony. Plus ‘affirmation’ is grounding us, bringing into play logical authority and a real sincerity of purpose for pursuing the same values in the new beginning that had allowed for understanding and transcending of the past. There is also the possibility of understanding that doubts are necessary and of value. The notself be stuck focusing on past confusions, paying lip service to what initially brought triumph.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 4, and at 11:13am (1:13am GMT) she will shift into Gate 29 ‘saying yes’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the abysmal’ which can be seen as the deep within the deep, where persistence despite difficulties has it’s inevitable rewards, which comes through reflection and making sense out of it all. This is the Tantric energy to empower the determination of the self and is the Gate of the generative yes, and fuels perseverance despite circumstances, and if not careful can result in loading up on piles of commitments and responsibilities so that there is something to persevere about. The trick here is to only ever say yes to what is correct, and the secret is waiting, this is a cyclical energy and what is committed to one day, may no longer be of interest the next. At 8:06pm (10:06am GMT) the Moon will shift into Gate 59 ‘sexuality’ bringing movement and focus to ‘dispersion’, and this is the generative life force that supports the ability to break down barriers to achieve union. Here is also the fuel for expressed sexuality and/or creativity, and being able to break down barriers through response, so as to bring something new to the community. There is also a desire for intimacy which can manifest as anything from shyness, brotherhood/sisterhood, the femme fatale/Casanova, to the one night stand and a few others in between. Waiting is always the key here, jumping into bonds prematurely will only lead to surface intimacy which is never going to be satisfying. Then at 4:57am on the 8^th (18:57GMT on the 7^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be seen as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”.  Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend.

Saturn has just moved into the 2^nd Line of Gate 18 ‘correction’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘working on what has been spoilt’ and here there is the logical vigilance and determination to knowingly uphold and defend basic and fundamental human rights. This is about understanding and judging what is dissatisfying so that it can be corrected to be more tasteful for future sharing. Taste is the focus of judgement on dissatisfaction, based on the essential learning of standards and values we received in our early years, so as to know what needs correction, which is a lifelong process, and without this drive for perfection which hones the critical skills there is no understanding.

At 10:49am (00:49GMT) Uranus moves into the 1^st Line of Gate 25 ‘selflessness’ bringing a sidetracking influence into play in relation to motiveless action. This is the unique universalisation of individual knowing and activity, and is based in a psychic attunement that is in and of itself its own reward and also enhances love and identity. There is also the potential for centring to be found through attunement to challenges. The notself will be insecure about change and publicise selflessness.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
