Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The Day starts with the Sun and Earth moving through the tail end of Gates 38 and 39, and then at 11:42pm (13:42gmt) they shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 53 and 54 bringing a theme for investigating and digging into things to see if there is a secure foundation to build on, and if the foundation is not secure it will be discarded. For the next 6 days the Sun will shine in ‘beginnings’ and ‘development’ where development is a structured progress that is both steadfast and enduring. And the Earth will ground us in ‘ambition’ and ‘the marrying maiden’ which is about interaction in its most mundane social context and also ones mystical and cosmic relationships.

And ‘accumulation’ is in the air today, and this is fuel for the abstract dissolution of old forms but not at the expense of sensing valued components that will be retained and transformed to share. All of which is based in the creative generative pressure to be productive and begin something new, but not from scratch, instead based on the foundation of the old experiences. Plus ‘influence’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the fuel for the ability to achieve support and influence through secret relationships, which can be anywhere from the private advisor to the Satanist. All of which is based in the instinctive ambition that is energised through the pressure of secret relationships which fuel influence in the community. The notself will be hampered by criticism, withdrawing rather than making use of its experiences, and have a socially misguided insistence on formal recognition of relationships which will ultimately diminish power and limit influence.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 6 and then at 10:48am (00:58am gmt)she shifts into Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 8:26pm (10:26am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 18 meeting up with Pluto in Gate 58 Defining the Root and Spleen Centres with the Channel of judgement, a ‘design of insatiability’ bringing movement and focus to the logical pressure and drive to find tasteful knowing. And this can be a very critical transit, and the key to giving and gaining understanding is to accept that it is best to not offer to share criticisms unless asked. Challenging life is not everyone's cup of tea, and if the criticism has been invited it will be well received. There is also an insatiable drive for perfection here, which can turn into analysis paralysis, so watch out for that one.  And remember judgement for judgement sake is best applied in the public sector, and not applied to oneself or other individuals.

At 5:55am 8^th (19:55gmt 7^th) the Moon shifts into conjunction with Saturn in Gate 48 ‘depth’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘the well’, this is the necessary and qualitative logical foundation that is a prerequisite to establish a shared common good. Here there is also the intuitive awareness possibility to be able to store vital information as a logical pattern ready for sharing, and without depth to what is stored the common good can never be satisfied. This depth is a resource pool with the awareness possibility to store vital information as a pattern for future use, and the depth here is totally dependent on what results from the process of judgement, and finding avenues for potential expression and sharing, through recognition. There is also the possibility to recognise in the now which patterns are vital to concentrate and focus on as the very foundation of logical talent, is understanding and depth that is available purely in the moment, and is based on the potential to judge a situation in the now. And much can be shared out of this depth, everything from trivia, to generalisations, to vital information.

At 10:40am (00:40am gmt) Mercury shifts into Gate 33 ‘privacy’ bringing communication into play in relation to ‘retreat’ which is about active withdrawal for reflection that can transform a weak position into a strength. And if this Throat Centre Gate had a voice it would say ‘I remember’, and is the voice of the abstract witness that could be likened to the prodigal child, who leaves home, giving up their birthright to wander and learn and then returns home many years later much the wiser and is accepted back into the fold so that the wisdom they have garnered during their experience can be expressed and shared through remembrance bringing them recognition. Here we see the need of regular time alone to reflect on the past, so that the past experiences can be processed and made sense of.

At 6:16pm (8:16am gmt) Venus shifts into Gate 52 ‘inaction’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘keeping still mountain’ where logical, temporary and self imposed inaction is vital to allow for the benefits that assessment and understanding bring. And this is the stillness of deep focused concentration that can be used to channel energy into what is logical. Also this need for stillness can at times be anti social, as concentration benefits from withdrawal, and as this is the fuel for how passive energy functions, lack of focus can lead to restlessness and tension.

At 2:42pm (4:42am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 35 ‘change’ bringing maturation and mutation into play in relation to abstract ‘progress’ where by design, progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on sensing and interaction. This is the manifestation of cyclical experiential energy, which always requires beginnings middles and ends, and this transit is all about satiating that appetite for change. If this had an archetype it would be the ‘jack of all trades’ who can also attain mastery, which is manifested through being experientially talented. If this gate had a voice it would say ‘I feel it’s time for a change’ so is always on the lookout for the next experience. This transit can also bring a lot of expectations into play, and being goal oriented will only lead to disappointment, as this is a Gate of the ‘wheel’ continually turning.
