Today's planetary update

Date: 7th August 2010

Today the Sun and Earth are moving through the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 7 and 13 bringing a theme of enjoying being absorbed in your natural talents until you are called on to share them. And ‘the democrat' is in the air, with the identity and ability to lead when chosen, by logically serving the will of the majority, based in the understanding and application of universally accepted systems. Plus ‘bigotry' is grounding us today, where the risk is always present that abstract fellowship and sharing can only exist for a particular type, whether racial, religious, national or intellectual. This can be seen as having a sense of identity where openness and tolerance is the least offensive manifestation of bigotry. The notself will resort to elitism, degeneracy and be so narrow minded and obsessive, that no one is worth listening to.

The Moon is moving through Gate 15 ‘extremes' bringing movement and focus to ‘modesty' seen as the quality of logical behaviour which expresses the proper balance between extremes. This is the Gate of 'the love of humanity' and is a very magnetic and sharing energy, and modesty comes through understanding and balancing extremes. At 2:25pm she will shift into Gate 52 ‘inaction' bringing the focus onto ‘keeping still mountain' bringing logical yet temporary and self imposed inaction for the benefit of assessment and understanding. This is an energy for focused concentration, which is based in stillness as this is the fuel for being passive. At 11:51pm she will shift into Gate 39 ‘the provocateur' bringing the focus onto recognising the unique value of ‘obstruction' in provoking individual analysis, assessment and re-evaluation. This is an empowering and combative fuel for provoking and finding the spirit which only comes with time and patience.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don't have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It's your life!
