Today's planetary update

Date: 6th April 2010

Today the Sun and Earth are in the 2nd Lines of Gate/hexagrams 51 and 57, bringing an energy for being involved and busy with your own thing, so that the right people will notice your talent. And there is the ability to instinctively withdraw when the power of the ego is threatened, which is about learning to recognise the mechanics of shock which can in turn lead to the understanding that withdrawal is actually the logical thing to do. It is only in withdrawal that real recuperation and regrouping can take place. Plus there is perfected cleansing in the air, which comes about through a process of inner realisation, also there is the possibility for proper ideals and values to come out into view via the intuition. Once the clarity to establish these proper values and ideals is reached, resolute determination will be required to maintain them, otherwise the realisation will be wasted. The notself will be too smart for its own good, superficial, and hide dirt under the carpet.

The Moon is in Gate 38 ‘the fighter', bringing into play the ability to preserve individual integrity through opposition to detrimental forces, this is real warrior or warrioress energy. This is a very independent energy and if anyone tries to threaten that, a fight could result, and this is about fighting for individuality and expression of purpose, not just fighting for the sake of it. Then at 4:55pm she moves into Gate 54 ‘the marrying maiden', and this brings into focus interaction in both the mundane social context as well as mystically and cosmically. Plus this transit brings a very ambitious and driven energy into play, which is all about material success and moving up the ladder to attain a higher status.

At 12pm Saturn moves into the 2nd Line of Gate 46 ‘the prima donna', bringing the need to learn from life into play in relation to having a difficult and demanding nature. And regardless of judgements this kind of nature can still succeed despite the demanding behaviour because of the depth of talent available. Plus determination to succeed is a theme and this strong drive may offend others. With Saturn involved, being a prima donna without the talent to back up the behaviour could well see it all end in tears.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
