Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 2^nd lines of Gates 48 and 21 and then at 10:05am 5^th (23:05gmt 4^th) they will shift into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme of mastering the material plane by making the right discoveries, through meeting the right trial and error. And ‘incommunicado’ is in the air today, which can be likened to the dark of the Moon phase, where the logical potential of any understanding, knowing or light is unrecognised, unavailable and unknowable. The redeeming value of this transit is to recognise the transience of this stage, which can give strength to those who are afflicted with waiting in this metaphoric no man’s land, where nothing and everything is taking place. This is teaching that the development of taste and depth is a long term process that leads to awareness. Plus ‘powerlessness’ is grounding us, and this is where the just are condemned to a futile confrontation with superior forces, and defeat is supported as a survivable humiliation, often only made acceptable through the abuse of drugs and alcohol. All of which is based in the tribal rule that unless one follows one's material path, the ego and will can be broken by superiors, so it’s a very good day to follow your Strategy and Inner Authority, especially regarding your material path. The notself will be profoundly anxious with any long term process, lost in the wilderness, totally withdrawing from the material plane.

And then at 8:56am 6^th (21:56gmt 5^th) the Sun and Earth will move into the 4^th Lines bringing a theme for connecting with friends and networks and seeing what opportunities show up. And ‘restructuring’ is in the air, and this is about having the logical good sense to take advantage of restriction on short term activity as a time to assess the situation and gain understanding. This then leads to tasteful restructuring that supports long term goals which in turn will facilitate more development when activity resumes. All of which is based in the knowing and awareness that depth and its possible expression will face restrictions, resulting in a taste for short term projects. Plus ‘strategy’ is grounding us today, and this is about the careful appraisal of opposing forces to establish a proper ego response. Here we see how success is supported in action through first having clarity, which is based in having the ego and will to succeed on the material plane and the instinct to use will power effectively in response to conditions in the tribe and community. The notself will be frustrated with restraint and restructuring, misjudging the power of opponents and following the ego rather than instincts.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 61 and then at 7:30pm (8:30am gmt) she will move into Gate 60 ‘acceptance’ bringing the focus onto ‘limitation’, where the knowing, recognition and acceptance of limitation is the first step in individual transcendence. This is about the unique growth that comes through releasing limited amounts of energy, manifesting as power bursts rather than sustained flows. This fuel comes in a pulse, for example it could be seen that knowing is there, and then it is not, and it is the spaces in between the knowing that allow for empowered evolutionary growth and change to take place. Miles Davis, the Jazz musician, understood this through music, he said that the mystery of music is in the space between the notes, and from a Human Design perspective, it is in the space between that the mutation that moves us forward into the new takes place.

At 5:06am 6^th (19:06gmt 5^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 41 meeting up with Gate 30 Defining the Root and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of recognition, a ‘design of focused energy’ and this is a powerful emotional drive, bringing movement and focus to abstract dreams and fantasies, and the main lessons here are to not try and make sense of the dreams or to try and make them come true. Also don’t expect emotional desires to bring lasting peace, as true peace is to simply enjoy the dreams themselves. And there is an endless yearning to feel in order to learn as this is where wisdom is gained through exploring all kinds of feelings, and often the way to stir feelings is through sharing dreams and wishes. There can also be a restless or nervousness as a result of this direct connection of a physical pressure Centre to the emotional Centre, and the biggest lesson can be patience and composure.
