Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 3^rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 35 and 5, and then at 2:07pm (4:07am gmt) they will shift into the 4^th Lines bringing a theme for opportunities showing up through connections with friends and networks. And ‘hunger’ is in the air today, and this is about sensing an insatiable appetite for progress and metamorphosis. All of which is based in the abstract experiential drive that can be obsessive in cycles like the moon, abating and then building again. This really is the expression of change for changes sake, where the drive lessons with age and reflection on experience. Plus ‘the hunter’ is grounding us, and this is the fuel for waiting that is a guarantee of survival. All of which is based in the logical creative genius to transform the most passive experience into active achievement. As this is the responsive power to understand and make the best of one’s fixed rhythm for the future. The notself will abuse its position to accumulate perks with the inevitable retribution from those unfairly deprived, plus the personality will be so strong that it will threaten survival out of vanity, denying its own natural rhythm.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 62 and then at 6:36pm (8:36am gmt) she will shift into Gate 56 meeting up with the North Node in Gate 11 Defining the Throat and Ajna Centres with the Channel of Curiosity, a ‘design of a seeker’. And here we recognise abstract sensing applied to the expression of conceptualisation, and this seeking is not about finding anything, or achieving some final goal or other. It is all about letting go of the idea of attainment altogether so that you can rest and find peace with the journey itself. The gift of the seeking is the stories that are there to be shared once the experience has been reflected on.

At 4:38am 6^th (18:38gmt 5^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 31 ’leading’ bringing movement and focus to ‘influence’ which is based in the logical law of friction, whether active or passive, this friction engenders transference and thus influence, understanding and sharing. And if this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I lead’, as it is always looking for ways to manifest future influence, and it will always have to wait for someone to recognise this, as this Gate has no access to any primary energy for action to be able to back itself up, so will often end up making purely verbal claims. This is the recognised democratic elected leader, a true representative of the people, who logically understands trends and patterns and is able to present and express them in such a way that everyone can understand and follow.

At 1:19am 6^th (15:19gmt 5^th) Mercury shifts into Gate 16 meeting up with Saturn in Gate 48 Defining the Spleen and Throat Centres with the Channel of the wavelength, a ‘design of talent’, bringing the logical expression of taste, talent, skill, depth and awareness. And here we get to see how talent is earned through waiting for that one thing that you can give yourself to totally, this is about loving whatever it is enough to become totally absorbed in constant repetition and gradual improvement, until mastery is attained. Through this process the technique can eventually be transcended, becoming an art.

At 11:59am (1:59am gmt) Venus shifts into Gate 8 ‘contribution’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to individualised ‘holding together’ and this is where an individual’s basic worth is realised and recognised through the actions of contributing their unique efforts to group goals. This is based in the individual possibility of metamorphosis leading to the expression of what you know you can do, and this is best done through going your own way and being the example, and whether anyone follows you or not is irrelevant as the individual knower is designed to be able to go it alone.

 At 3:32am 6^th (17:32gmt 5^th) Mars shifts into Gate 23 ‘assimilation’ bringing maturation and mutation into play in relation to ‘splitting apart’ and this is all about individual amorality, based in having the knowing, awareness and understanding which leads to recognition and acceptance of uniqueness and diversity. The very fact that an insight is unique and individual requires that it be metamorphosed in order to be able to communicate its essence to the collective, as for any insight to be recognised as empowering and truly of value to others, it has to be successfully expressed. This Gate is also about eliminating intolerance, as in an intolerant world it is hard for the unique individual to survive.
