Today's planetary update

Date: 5th August 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs (note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today is a 6th Line themed day as the Sun and Earth complete their journey through Gates/Hexagrams 33 and 19 bringing visions and dreams of the future, just be careful not to trip over what you already have. And ‘disassociation' is in the air, based in the abstract ability to sense when to let go, combined with the will to concentrate on metamorphosis and revitalisation and not be handicapped by persistent recriminations from past experiences, simply being able to let go in retreat and enjoy privacy. Plus ‘the recluse' is grounding us today, and this is the fuel that supports the avoidance of contact within the community in general but not exclusively. This is the archetype of the fool on the hill, the sage, who if you can find them, will talk to you. The notself will be completely disassociated, sulking in self imposed exile.

The Moon is now in Gate 20 meeting up with Pluto in Gate 10, Defining the Throat and the ‘G' Centres with the Channel of Awakening, a ‘design of commitment to higher principles'. This is all about the expression and metamorphosis of knowing, love, direction and identity, and brings movement and focus to the importance of being you in life, regardless of the cost. As through being a living, breathing example of unique and individual self love and self acceptance others are in turn empowered in their own self acceptance. At 1:22pm the Moon will shift into Gate 16 ‘skills' bring the focus onto ‘enthusiasm' and the great art of logically enriching life through the harmonic channelling of energy. This is an energy for experimenting with patterns to find understanding, looking for the perfect expression of the pattern, which takes time and repetition to master, and once mastered is ready to be shared. At 11:26pm she will shift into Gate 35 ‘change' bringing movement and focus to ‘progress' and by design progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on sensing and interaction. This is also about satiating one's appetite for abstract change, through having the right experiences to share in timely cycles.

At 9:18pm Venus shifts into conjunction with Saturn in Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self' bringing values and worth in relation to ‘pushing upward', and this is a theme where good fortune may be sensed or perceived to be the result of serendipity but actually is derived from effort and dedication. This is also a Gate of Love, the love of the vessel, the body as a temple, which when surrendered to brings serendipity to life that can be shared on reflection.

At 5:26pm Mars shifts into Gate 18 ‘correction' bringing a maturing and mutating energy to ‘work on what has been spoilt', and brings the logical vigilance and determination to uphold and defend basic and fundamental human rights. This is the Gate of sharing essential learning, where the parent passes learning and understanding down to their child, which leads to establishing certain standards as to how life will be measured and perceived.
