Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth moving through the tail end of Gates/hexagrams 40 and 37 and then at 4:51pm (6:51am gmt) they will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 64 and 63 bringing a theme for researching and investigating to ensure that there is a secure foundation for the future. For the next 6 days the Sun will be shining in Gate 64 ‘confusion’ and ‘before completion’, and this is where we are reminded that all transitions are like giving birth and require a determined strength for the passage through. Plus the Earth is grounding us in Gate 63 ‘doubt’ and ‘after completion’ which is all about the never ending spiral of life, where all endings are also beginnings, the movement never stops.

And today ‘conditions’ are in the air, and here we recognise that through abstractly penetrating to the very centre of anything, an understanding can be sensed that in turn instils the necessary harmony to aid in surviving disorder. This is a mental pressure to find inspiration and answers from the past, which does create confusion, and yes there can be difficulty in finding the point, but through reflection clarity can be found and shared. Plus ‘composure’ is what is grounding us today, and here we recognise the logical quality of the personality where inspiration and achievement is accepted with equanimity. This is where continued development is innately understood and allowed to take its natural course and be shared with others. There is also mental pressure here, which can lead to the acceptance of achievement, but there can be a lingering doubt as to whether continued development can or will take place in the future. The notself will feel the urge for hasty action to escape confusion, continually seeking new goals which in turn leads to destabilisation.

The Moon is still shifting through Gate 34 and at 5:01pm (7:01am gmt) she will shift into Gate 9 ‘focus’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the taming power of the small’ and this is where logical potential can be fulfilled and shared through understanding and detailed attention to all the pertinent aspects. This brings a fuel for determination, and the creative generative power to maintain focus, especially on those details that can carry us into the future. This Gate brings an ability for prolonged focus and detailed work, as long as the discipline of sitting still can be maintained. 'God is in the detail' could be this Gate's mantra, and it must be the right detail that has come to you through your Strategy and Inner Authority.

At 2:50am 4^th (16:50gmt 4^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 5 ‘rhythms’ bringing movement and focus to ‘waiting’ the fundamental attunement to natural logical rhythms. And here we get to see and understand waiting as an active state of awareness in all of its glory. This Gate is the drive and fuel for the Tantra of sharing the rhythm of life, and brings into play the generative power to fix the natural pattern. This is all about the creativity, innate habits, daily rhythm and tempo that naturally move us into the future, and is never about establishing these patterns through any form of mental awareness, it is purely mechanical. In this context the role of awareness is to not identify with concepts that try to alter the natural pattern, as nothing should be allowed to interfere with natural creative patterns and how they are shared in life.

At 1:21am 5^th (15:21gmt 4^th) Venus shifts into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.

At 3:20pm (5:20am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 62 ‘detail’ bringing maturation and mutation to ‘preponderance of the small’, which is all about expressing logical caution, patience and detail to produce understanding and excellence out of limitation. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I think’, which is based in being able to communicate and share concepts from a mechanical capacity for detail. This is where opinions can manifest as words, and things can be given their names, solidifying their existence in the Maia, which aids the collective in understanding the world, as without names, there can be no understanding or sharing, this is the Gate of the development of language which is the common ground for sharing of the human experience.

At 5:23pm (7:23am gmt) Neptune moves into the 5^th Line of Gate 30 bring the veils of illusion to ‘irony’, and this is about the recognition and dedication to abstract and transitory goals. Here we sense strength that is derived from the knowledge and experience that two steps forward and one step back, is still one step forward, all of which is based in each new feeling bringing back an old feeling before progress can take place. The notself will be frustrated with limits, desiring to eliminate the whole process.
