Today's planetary update

Date: 3rd July 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs (note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today starts with the Sun and Earth in the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 39 and 38 bringing an energy for enjoying being absorbed in what ever you are talented at, waiting for the right people to notice you. And ‘confrontation' is a theme today, based in the individual, instinctual and direct assault of obstacles, which can be very provoking, yet empowering. Plus ‘politeness' is in the air, bringing opposition into play that doesn't transgress normal codes of behaviour. And this is done by valuing knowing and an intuitive awareness for discretion. The notself will avoid what's important, being servile and superficial.

Then at 7:48pm the Sun and Earth will move into conjunction with the North and South Nodes in the 3rd Lines bringing an energy for experimenting and coming up with something new. And ‘responsibility' is the theme here, and is all about being empowered enough to avoid confronting obstacles if failure would put others at risk. This is all about the knowing that the first consideration must be for the larger framework, which in its own way is provoking through self sacrifice. Plus ‘alliance' is in the air, based on having the ability to be sustained through integration with similar forces, thus ensuring the individual vitality to persevere. This could also be seen as the knowing that to integrate with others in times of struggle leads to empowerment. The notself won't risk confrontation, selfishly draining allies vitality.

The Moon is now moving through Gate 36 ‘crisis', bringing movement and focus to ‘darkening of the light' and the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. There is strong abstract pressure for sharing profound emotional experiences, and finding clarity through moving through the highs and the lows of emotions that come with these profound experiences. At 8:14pm she will shift into conjunction with Uranus in Gate 25 ‘the spirit of the self', bringing the focus onto ‘innocence' and the perfection of action through maintaining a unique, uncontrived and spontaneous nature. This is where true rite of passage or initiation involves retaining innocence despite circumstances, and leads to knowing and self empowerment.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don't have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It's your life!
