Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin our day with the Sun and Earth still making their way through the 3^rd Lines of gates 33 and 19 and then at 12:14pm (2:14am gmt) they will move into the 4^th Lines bringing a theme for networking and connecting with friends to see what opportunities show up. And ‘dignity' is in the air today, and comes through recognising the lack of turmoil found in retreat. This also brings an underlying faith in sensing resurrection that turns retreat into an opportunity for shared renewal and regeneration. All of which is based in healthy abstract retreat and reflection leading to the metamorphosis and expression of regeneration. Plus ‘the team player' is grounding us today, and this is the fuel for individual approach which attracts and accepts cooperation and support. There is also power and energy for outward activity and the ability to accept others as long as they can keep up. This is about recognising how this driving force can in turn support and benefit the whole group, and is based in the pressure and energy to seek out and exalt in the company of others in the community. The notself will degenerate and be dissatisfied with the contribution of others.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 6 and then at 5:13pm (7:13am gmt) she shifts into Gate 46  ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 2:29am 4^th (16:29gmt 3^rd) the Moon shifts into Gate 18 meeting up with Pluto in Gate 58 Defining the Root and Spleen Centres with the Channel of judgement, a ‘design of insatiability’ bringing movement and focus to the logical pressure and drive to find tasteful knowing. And this can be a very critical transit, and the key to giving and gaining understanding is to accept that it is best to not offer to share criticisms unless asked. Challenging life is not everyone's cup of tea, and if the criticism has been invited it will be well received. There is also an insatiable drive for perfection here, which can turn into analysis paralysis, so watch out for that one.  And remember judgement for judgement sake is best applied in the public sector, and not applied to oneself or other individuals.

At 1:51pm (3:51am gmt) Mercury turns retrograde in the 2^nd Line of Gate 59 bringing a review of communication in relation to ‘shyness’, and this is about self imposed creative generative barriers, based in a preferred and natural separateness that protects against inevitable instability that can be engendered by union. Here we get to see the restriction of the sex drive used to support and maintain separateness. The notself will be driven to separateness through infertility and deep psychological barriers.

At 11:46pm (13:46gmt) Venus shifts into conjunction with the Sun in Gate 33 ‘privacy’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘retreat’ which is about active withdrawal for reflection that can transform a weak position into a strength. And if this Throat Centre Gate had a voice it would say ‘I remember’, and is the voice of the abstract witness that could be likened to the prodigal child, who leaves home, giving up their birthright to wander and learn and then returns home many years later much the wiser and is accepted back into the fold so that the wisdom they have garnered during their experience can be expressed and shared through remembrance bringing them recognition. Here we see the need of regular time alone to reflect on the past, so that the past experiences can be processed and made sense of.
