Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts still in the 1^st Line theme, and then at 11:14pm (12:14gmt) the Sun and Earth will move into the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 21 and 48 bringing a theme for being shyly involved in natural talents until the right call comes to share them. And ‘might is right’ is in the air today, and this is about the legitimacy of will powered action in response to flagrant and persistent interference. All of which is based in a powerful and extreme reaction, where the severest action will be the most successful and supportive, leading to the legitimate rejection of interference on the material plane within the tribe or communities business. Plus ‘degeneracy’ is grounding us and here we recognise the knowing awareness that to successfully establish a new form, logically one cannot neglect the most positive attributes just to accommodate inferior elements, as this would lead to deterioration. All of which is based the tasteful understanding and confidence in awareness to resist inferior influences. The notself will have a tendency to regret severity, no matter how legitimate, lacking confidence in awareness that invites interference and decadence.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 30 and at 9:54am 31^st (22:54gmt 30^th) she will shift into Gate 55 ‘spirit’ bringing movement and focus to ‘abundance’ and this is where abundance is strictly a question of spirit. And this is based in the power of unique emotional awareness and its potential to destabilise, which is the testing ground for humanity's search for spirit. And in this Gate lies the potential for individual spirit and its empowered manifestation, and it also shows us that spirit is not a concept or instinct, it is an emotional awareness, and through this Gate the limitations of emotions is experienced. Here we get to see how abundance is the microcosm of life in form, and could be seen as the archetype of ‘David’s cup’, which is where the cup is always present and contains our lives, and can be perceived as half full or half empty. Here there is always potential awareness available, yet when life is experienced as ‘this and that’, any awareness is lost. This is where the empowered individual can find the spirit in the emotional now, which is a wave made up of many points of geometry, and at any given point spirit is not a matter of comparison, just the wonder that the cup exists at all.

At 9:14pm (10:14am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 37 ‘friendship’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the family’ and the support for the manifestation macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. There is also a potential emotional awareness with this very social and communal energy, recognising and focusing sensitivity ready for communal expression. And there is also the possibility of offering friendship and support to others, however the friendship offered through this Gate is never free of an underlying emotionally based bargain, and is always seeking loyalty and looking for a promise of loyalty in return. If this Gate had an archetype it would be those outstretched arms that are ready to embrace and hug, as there is possible awareness supported through the actual touch, not so much in the energy to embrace.

At 8:36am 1^st (21:36gmt 31^st) the Moon shifts into Gate 63 ‘doubt’ bringing movement and focus onto the recognition of ‘after completion’ where in the spiral of life, all ends are beginnings. This is a logical mental pressure that fuels doubt, suspicion and distrust, all of which can be both projected out into the world or turned inward. And when able to find understanding and move past the doubts, this mental pressure can bring logical inspiration. And the process of understanding is an essential process in this life and it begins with doubts, fuelling the pressure of uncertainty that in turn demands proof, facts and substantiation. This is where there is no need to feel uncomfortable with having doubts, as they are the beginning of a process of shared understanding, not an end. The doubt only arises when there is something unclear in the pattern, which is why this is the Gate of questioning, however it is not aware, it is purely looking to establish the validity of a logical pattern so that it can form the basis for sharing and projecting into the future.

At 10:02am 31^st (23:02 gmt 30^th)Mars shifts into conjunction with Uranus in Gate 25 ‘the spirit of the self’ bringing maturation and mutation to ‘innocence’, and the individual perfection of unique action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature. This is where being centred in the now depends on the quality of innocence, and innocence is tested and empowered in the fire of competitive energy. And despite outward appearances the true competition here is whether the self can maintain its unique innocence despite circumstances. This is also the Gate of the shaman/priestess or spiritual warrior who loves all of existence without discrimination, this is where a flower can be loved as profoundly as a human, and this quality of love can be projected as cool or cold, and it is neither. The true mystical potential of this love is both transcendent and universal, and is based in the knowing that the spirit is always being tested. This is also the Gate of scars, which brings the potential of being wounded, exemplified by the warrior fool who leaps empty handed into the void, with only its innocence to carry it, with the hope that it will land on its feet. And yes the spirit can be broken, but triumph and survival enrich the spirit and result in the wonder of being.
