Today's planetary update

Date: 31sth March 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. EDT / GMT +11hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

The Sun and Earth are in the 1st Lines of Gates 21 and 48, bringing the energy for researching and creating a secure foundation. And fierceness is in the air, and is to be respected without recourse to action, this is about having the willpower and ego to ensure respect is given when deserved. This transit is also about remembering to warn people in advance when action is going to be taken and only using force as a last resort. Plus there is instinctive recognition of what is practical and deserves attention, which is about having a ‘taste' or ‘knowing' about what is significant and what is not, leading to establishing what is really for the common good. The notself will lack power, asking for respect instead of earning it, egotistically focusing on trivial considerations.

Then at 5:28pm the Sun and Earth move into the 2nd Lines, bringing the energy of being shy until the timing is right, and then bringing your boldness to the fore. And ‘might is right' could be in order during this transit, which might sound powerful and extreme, and is about the severest action sometimes being necessary and the most successful path to take. Success in this context only comes through legitimately rejecting flagrant and persistent interference from others. And there is also the confidence to resist inferior influences, which will in turn lead to awareness that will establish a new form, knowing that accommodating inferior elements at the cost of more positive attributes will lead to deterioration. The notself will be uncomfortable and filled with regrets for legitimate actions, lacking confidence and misguidedly ending in degeneracy

The moon is in Gate 32 meeting up with the North Node in Gate 54 Defining the Root and Spleen Centres with the Channel of Transformation, a ‘Design of Being Driven'. This brings in an energy for transforming raw energy into something that will endure, it's about transforming hard work into material success, and to be a sustainable enterprise vigour needs to be balanced with restraint. Then at 5:37pm the Moon moves into Gate 50 ‘values', bringing an energy that supports the historical continuity where traditional values serve and enrich the present and the future. This transit will focus energy onto responsibility within the community, looking at the laws that are to be upheld, and the ones that need to be changed.

Jupiter has now moved into Gate 22 ‘grace', bringing into play rules and laws around the quality of behaviour best suited to handling mundane and trivial situations. This is a very moody transit and can be very social when in the mood, and if not in the mood, well, best to keep to yourself. This is also a very acoustically sensitive time, and when something worth listening to shows up it will always improve the mood. The notself will fear silence and lack of growth, being deaf to the truth.

At 6:44pm Mercury moves in with Venus in Gate 3 ‘ordering', bringing a focus onto communication in relation to the challenges of wanting to initiate something, and to do that confusion must be transcended before order can be established, and this is all in the timing, it cannot be rushed. There is always a possibility of something totally new coming out of this energy, and timing must be respected, as it is only in the right moment that the new can emerge. The notself will feel enormous pressure to resolve confusion, which can be depressing.
