Today's planetary update

We begin our day today with the Sun and Earth in the 3rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 24 and 44 bringing into to play the energy for some trial and error discoveries to be made. There is the ability today to ultimately triumph and overcome irrationality, regression and addiction, yes, even if it is difficult, it can be done. And there is also the possibility to recognise the threat of interference and to be prepared for its effects. And the best preparation is to firstly be alert to interference and to then use instinct to handle the ego of others, also if the circumstances are not right, it is not the time to interact, this is not something to be forced. The notself will cave in to the powerful attraction of regressive forms, deluded and stuck in projection.

The Moon is in Gate 14 ‘power skills', bringing the focus onto possession in great measure which develops from the accumulation and retention of power through the skilled interaction of coupling grace with control. This is a very fertile life force energy that is best used in the empowerment of the self, which in turn empowers others. At 12:50pm she moves into Gate 34 ‘power' bringing the focus onto the knowing that power is only being great when its display serves the common good. This is pure unconditional power, ready to be used for building and creating, which is centred in unique individuation. Then at 10:56pm she will move into Gate 9 ‘focus', bringing into focus the taming power of the small, where potential can only be fulfilled through detailed attention to all pertinent aspects. This about having a deep understanding of how important focus and detail are to the success of any logical process. Oh yes! 'God is in the details' is the mantra for Gate 9.

Mercury has retrograded into Gate 27 ‘caring' bringing reviewed communication around nourishment and the enhancement of the quality and the substance of all activities through caring. This is a powerful life force energy that drives our motives for caring and sharing. And caring is a cycle, the carer needs to be cared for, and over care can lead to burnout.

Venus has shifted into Gate 16 ‘skills', and this is all about our standards and values in relation to enthusiasm, which is really the great art of enriching life by harmonically channelling energy into a talent, to fully embody the talent and fill it with spirit. This is a very experimental energy, absorbed in looking at and repeating patterns in order to master the ones that work, developing talent into mastery.

Jupiter has moved into the 2nd Line of Gate 36 ‘support', which will have us looking at laws and rules around all kinds of cycles, where decline is a natural but not enduring stage of every healthy cycle. Remember, every new beginning is another beginning's end, that is how life works. Also there is pressure to act from an emotional angle, looking for change, which if it is change with no awareness, will more often than not lead to crisis.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
