Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Today we are still moving through the last phase of the 6^th Line of Gate/hexagrams 18 and 17, and then at 6:34am on the 3rd (19:34 GMT on the 2^nd) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 48 and 21, bringing a theme for investigating, researching and digging into things to see if there is a secure foundation. And for the next six days the Sun is shining in ‘depth’ and ‘the well’ bringing the necessary and qualitative foundation that is a prerequisite to establish the common good. And the Earth is Grounding us in ‘the hunter/huntress’ and ‘biting through’ bringing the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference.

And ‘insignificance’ is in the air today, which is about having an instinctive awareness for the taste, understanding and recognition of what is practical and logically deserves attention for the future. Plus ‘warning’ is grounding us, and this is about supporting the use of force as a last resort. All of which is based in the fierceness to be respected, without any recourse to take action, as this is pure will power and ego that ensures respect from the tribe and community. The notself will apply energy to trivial considerations, ignoring warnings and lacking respect from others.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 53 and at 3:29pm (2:29am GMT) she will shift into Gate 62 meeting up with the Earth in Gate 17 defining the Ajna and Throat Centres with the Channel of acceptance, a ‘design of an organisational being’. This is the energy for expressing logical mental awareness, understanding and concepts, and brings into play the rare mental ability of being able to see the big picture without getting bogged down in all the details. Also if the time is not taken to look into all the relevant facts and details, long term visions will inevitably falter. Here we get to recognise that when all the facts are right at your finger tips, then you can speak as your opinions are backed up with all the relevent details. And through poor timing and pushing to sharing opinions that are unwanted the ability to see future patterns clearly, is destroyed.

At 11:11pm (12:11 GMT) the Moon shifts into Gate 56 ‘stimulation’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the wanderer’ and this is where we get to sense and see how stability comes through the recognition and expression of movement. Here we have the perpetuation of abstract continuity through the linking of short term activity based on past reflection. This is an abstract metamorphic expression and if it had a voice this Gate would say ‘I believe’ and is all about making sense of and translating the human experience into language so that it can be shared, I often wonder if Martin Luther King had this Gate? Here we see the abstract expression of ideas, and ideas are never facts, and cannot be substantiated by a formula, the idea is never a solution, but always the journey. This is a pure mental awareness that has nothing to do with action, it is purely about recognising, making sense of, and translating human experience into language, and once the idea is expressed verbally it is the end of the process.

At 8:46am on the 3rd (21:46 GMT on the 2^nd) the Moon shifts into Gate 31 ’leading’ bringing the focus to ‘influence’ which is based in the logical law of friction, whether active or passive, this friction engenders transference and thus influence, understanding and sharing. And if this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I lead’, as it is always looking for ways to manifest future influence, and it will always have to wait for someone to recognise this, as this Gate has no access to any primary energy for action to be able to back itself up, so will often end up making purely verbal claims. This is the recognised democratic elected leader, a true representative of the people, who logically understands trends and patterns and is able to present and express them in such a way that everyone can understand and follow.

At 2:26am on the 3^rd (15:26 GMT on the 2^nd) Mercury shifts into Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing communication in relation to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
