Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still moving through the tail end of Gates/hexagrams 16 and 9, and then at 3:40pm (5:40am gmt) they will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 35 and 5 bringing a theme for investigating, researching and digging into things to ensure that there is a secure foundation for the future. For the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘change’ and ‘progress’, where by design progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on interaction. And the earth is grounding us in ‘fixed rhythms’ and ‘waiting’ which is the fundamental attunement to natural rhythms. Waiting as an active state of awareness.

And ‘humility’ is in the air today, and this is about the experiential ability to accept rejection, like the archetype of the artist who has the sense to accept and reflect on past rejection as a part of their metamorphosis process. All of which is based in the abstract acceptance of change and rejection as part of the expression and action in any shared process. Plus ‘perseverance’ is grounding us, and this is the logical fuel for understanding when if the captain must, he needs to go down with the ship. All of which is based in the empowered responsive courage to face adversity, through the power to maintain one’s own rhythm for the future. The notself will feel a lack of worth and humiliation, reacting self destructively to rejection, as well as being driven to prematurely and often disastrously to cut ones losses.

And the Moon is still shifting through Gate 35 and then at 6:21pm (8:21am gmt) she shifts into gate 45 ‘the gatherer’ bringing movement and focus to ‘gathering together’ which is all about naturally attracting generally beneficial like forces that will support manifestation and expression. This is the Gate of hierarchical dominance, and can be seen as the archetype of the king or queen, the empress or emperor, the autocratic tribal leader, who is busy looking after the welfare of the community. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I have’ or ‘we have’, and is an expression of the material wellbeing of the community, benevolently sharing materially with the community.

At 4:54am 3^rd (18:54gmt 2^nd) the Moon shifts into conjunction with the south node in Gate 12 ‘caution’ bringing movement and focus onto individual ‘standstill’ which is about the empowering quality that restraint can bring to life. This brings into play a knowing that is often experienced through allowing time for meditation and inaction when confronting temptation. And this Gate is specifically about the empowerment that comes through not doing, it is also a Gate of social caution as it has an innate wariness of the collective. This is also a transit where aloneness is accepted and expressed in its own unique way, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I try’ or ‘I won't try’, there is always going to be a maybe with this transit, depending on the mood and the spirit.

At 7:33am 3^rd (21:33gmt 2^nd) Mercury shifts into Gate 20 ‘the now’ bringing communication into focus in relation to ‘contemplation’ and this is about the recognition and expression of unique individual awareness in the now, which in turn transforms understanding into right action. This is all about seeing life in the present moment, life has to be now! It’s being totally absorbed in knowing in the present moment, instantaneously speaking, acting or becoming clear. There can also be melancholy over the world as it is now, with a deep need to care for oneself first.
