Today's planetary update

It's a 3rd Line day as the Sun and Earth continue their journey through Gates/hexagrams 33 and 19, bringing a theme of developing resilience through trial and error discoveries. And ‘spirit' is in the air today, where the attitude of reflection brings sense that turns retreat into victory. This is responsible and principled abstract retreat based on preservation and the expression of the determination to persevere, leading to recognising privacy as a path to success. Plus ‘dedication' is grounding us today, where the fuel for receptivity to approach can only be maintained with support, recognition and vigilance. This can bring a natural ease with which communion is maintained within the community. Also sensitivity and ease are fuelled by recognition and acceptance by others. The notself will irresponsibly burn bridges, tending to moodiness and oversensitivity.

The Moon is moving through Gate 42 ‘growth' bringing movement and focus to ‘increase' which is the generative drive for the maximisation of resources which in turn maximises the logical development of full potential. This is where the potential for growth held in the beginning of something can be understood and maximised, taking it toward completion, so as to bring things to a close before the next step can be taken. At 11:09am she will shift into Gate 3 ‘ordering' bringing the focus onto ‘difficulty at the beginning' and this is the generative drive to respond to the fundamental challenge of initiation through transcending individual confusion and establishing empowered order. This unique energy is a knowing that is confused until it finds its form, which is a natural mutative process, and the form can never be known until it is formed. At 10:06pm she will shift into Gate 27 ‘caring' bringing the focus onto ‘nourishment' and this is the generative drive to enhance the quality and the substance of all activities through support and caring. This is a drive to be nourished and cared for and to nourish and care for others, which is the glue within the community, ensuring survival of the community through caring for the young. This is also the Gate of compassion, bringing creative life force power to support caring for the weak and can be impressively altruistic in its manifestation, an example of this could be Mother Theresa.

All of the Gates the Moon is Transiting are part of the Sacral Centre, and bring a strong potential for generating life. There is also the potential for a lot of emotional volatility around and there is a drive to find love and direction. So stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don't get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
