Today's planetary update

Date: 2nd April 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. EDT / GMT +11hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

The Sun and Earth are still in the 3rd lines and at 3:04pm they move to the 4th lines, bringing an energy where the best opportunities will show up through your friends and networks. And the strategy of the day is to carefully appraise any opposing forces to be able to establish what will be the best response, remembering that action can only be successful when it is preceded with clarity. There is also the possibility of applying knowing and instinct as to when to use willpower so that it will be effective. Plus restructuring is in the air today, and this comes as the result of having the good sense to take advantage of restrictions in short term activities. This allows time and space to be able to assess the situation and to then restructure, ready to deal with and support those longer term goals that will facilitate further development when activity resumes. There is also the possibility of awareness around how and why depth and its expression will face restrictions, which in turn can result in a focus on short term projects. The notself will ignore instinct, misjudge others power and be frustrated by restraint.

The Moon is in Gate 43 ‘insight', bringing into play an energy where achievement can only be maintained if a new order is fairly established around it. There will also be unique perspectives popping up in all manner of situations and thoughts could be expressed in novel and creative ways. This unique energy has its own timing and before anything can be expressed, you will have to wait for the penny to drop, or your insights will fall on deaf ears. Then at 6:02pm she moves into Gate 14 ‘power skills', bringing an energy where the focus is on the accumulation of power through skilled interaction, and that takes a blend of coupling grace with control. Also this potential can only come to fruition through really loving the work that you do, as this type of power is all about finding your own unique direction in life.

Mars has moved into Line 2 of Gate 31 'arrogance', bringing into play an energy that is moving toward maturity, through subtle and continual change. The main focus for this energy will be around the dedication to higher principles, and will not be at all interested in waiting on group consensus, especially when time is of the essence. This is about being ready to take independent action without guidance, when it's correct to do so. The notself will be filled with nervous tension, jumping the gun and misfiring.

At 7:33pm Venus moves into Gate 27 ‘caring', bringing into focus values and worth around how to support the enhancement of the quality and substance of any and all activities through caring and nurturing. There is compassion in the air, just be careful not to sacrifice your own wellbeing for the sake of someone else. Sometimes the most caring and compassionate thing to do in a situation is to look after yourself first, so then you have something to offer when it's really needed. The notself will sacrifice itself, have no boundaries, and end up over caring and burnt out.
