Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 2^nd Lines of Gates 16 and 9 and then at 5:50pm (7:50am gmt) they will shift into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme for making material beneficial discoveries through a process of trial and error. And ‘independence’ is in the air today, and here we recognise self generating and sustaining logical enthusiasm. All of which is based in having the proper timing to tastefully maintain rhythm and avoid deflation, as this is the independent skill, understanding and possible talent to express proper rhythm and timing for the future. Plus ‘the straw that breaks the camel’s back’ is grounding us, and this is the fuel for the often overlooked minor element that always predetermines failure. All of which is based in the logical use of force to temporarily overcome impediments, as here we gain understanding into the loss of power through failure to focus on the future. The notself will be overconfident which will lead to frustration and be reliant on others for enthusiasm, and through obsessions turn molehills into mountians

The Moon is still moving through Gate 42 and then at 3:48pm (5:48am gmt) she will shift into conjunction with Jupiter in Gate 3 ‘ordering’ bringing movement and focus to ‘difficulty at the beginning’ and this is a creative generative life force energy where the fundamental challenge of individual initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order and knowing. This is the fuel for empowered mutation, or evolutionary growth and change, which starts out as a confused energy, in the sense that it is unsubstantiated, because like the individual insight it is unique and has to find its form. Here we also get to see the fulfilment of knowing through individual expression, where being a unique example brings changes and mutation to all who come into contact with it, as this is the basis of cultural mutation.

At 3:02am 30^th (17:02gmt 29^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 27 ‘caring’ bringing movement and focus to ‘nourishment’ and this is the fuel for the support, defence and enhancement of the quality and substance of all activities through responsive caring. This is a powerful generative life force bringing energy for nourishment, as without nourishment and caring, nothing can survive, this is the drive to care and nourish as well as to be cared for and nourished. This is also the Gate of compassion, bringing the power to care for the weak, the sick and the young. And here we get to see pure impressive altruism in action, if this Gate had an archetype, it could be Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

At 11:40am (1:40am gmt) Mars shifts into conjunction with Venus in Gate 2 ‘higher knowing’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘the receptive’ which is all about recognising individual receptivity as being a primal base through which any unique response is determined, and is the root of empowered action through love, identity and direction. This is the most yin or receptive of all the hexagrams and is the archetype of what the ancients would have referred to as the higher self, and is all about direction, not awareness, yes, the gods do love a joke, in that the Centre of the self is unaware, it is just doing what it does, holding us together in the illusion of our separateness and giving us our own unique direction and in turn is filled with the knowing and potential to continue evolving through direction.
