Today's planetary update

Date: 29th July 2010

Today the Sun and Earth are making their way through the 5th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 31 and 41 bringing a theme of projection that can lead to new connections, just keep things practical so as not to get caught out trying to fulfill projections, which of course is a recipe for failure. And ‘self righteousness' is in the air today, which can be seen as a lack of external influence that is logically guaranteed by maintaining a certain attitude. This then results in isolation where a natural specialisation can develop, and this in itself can be a difficult process, as once the development is complete, finding the understanding required to be able to externalise and share the influence is a generally impossible task. So this is the type of specialisation that demands that one leads oneself. Plus ‘authorisation' is grounding us today, bringing external recognition of abstract potentials despite sensing limitations. This is all about the value of energy to the collective, when it is properly channelled, as it can be a fuel for feelings despite limitations. The notself will be deeply self focused, hampering development and ending up filled with negativity.

The Moon is in Gate 37 ‘friendship' bringing movement and focus to the ‘family' and the manifestation both macro and microcosmically of the organic nature of communities. This is all about communal transpersonal expression, focusing sensitivity for communal expression, and offering support and friendship to others. At 5:03pm she will move into Gate 63 ‘doubt' bringing the focus onto ‘after completion' where in the spiral of life all ends are beginnings. This is a mental pressure that can fuel suspicion, doubt and mistrust, which can be both projected out to the world or turned inward. And ironically it is this process that brings logical understanding to inspiration for sharing, and the key is to remember not to feel uncomfortable, as the discomfort is just the beginning of a process that results in logical inspiration.
