Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

It’s the New Moon today in Gate 59 as the Moon completes her waning phase at 1:05pm (3:05am gmt) beginning the build up back to being full. You can read about Gate 59 in yesterdays lunar updates

We begin our day on the tail end of Gates/hexagrams 59 and 55 and then at 8:21pm (10:21am gmt) the Sun and Earth shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 40 and 37 bringing a theme for being introspective and busy investigating and researching to create a secure foundation. For the next six days the sun is shining in ‘aloneness’ and ‘deliverance’ which is the point of transition between struggle and liberation, and the Earth is grounding us in ‘friendship’ ‘the family’ with the manifestation both macro and microcosmically of the organic nature of communities. This is an unusual Sun and Earth transit as it Defines the ‘Ego/heart’ and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of community, a ‘design of a part seeking a whole’, and this brings will powered emotions to the fore, especially in relation to the community and family. Bargains based on emotional awareness and clarity will be a theme, and the right allies to bond with within the community is vital to the support and success of the age old bargain of ‘if you do that, I will do this’ which can be in relation to child rearing, food preparation, building shelter, earning money etc. These are the bargains that glue communities together and make sure everyone is cared for.

And ‘recuperation’ is in the air, which is about having the will to do the work and then also having the ability to relax and enjoy the fruits of ones labours, supported by the community and the ego strength to enjoy being alone and take time out. Plus ‘the mother/father’ is grounding us today, and here we recognise a position of inherent respect that ensures the focus for the support and development of guidelines. This is where harmony through emotional awareness and clarity is the key to the successful maintenance of relationships, as it is only through harmony that the beauty and the values of the family and community can endure. The notself will not be able to be still, uncomfortable being alone and emotionally volatile.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 59 where she becomes New, and then at 1:34pm (3:34am gmt) she shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.

At 10:37pm (12:37gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 64 ‘confusion’ bringing movement and focus to 'before completion', and this is about the recognition that transition, like giving birth, requires a determined strength for the passage through. This transit brings an abstract mental pressure to sense and resolve inspiration and find awareness out of experience. In this context confusion is not a negative thing, it simply means that the mind is busy, busy, busy with a great deal of data, most of which is superfluous. And this data requires filtering to relieve the pressure and find the gems of clarity to be shared. This is also about fully experiencing the present in order to reflect upon it, when it is past.

At 7:39am 30^th (21:39gmt 29^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing movement and focus to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.
