Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts off with the Sun and Earth still moving through the tail end of Gates/hexagrams 34 and 20, and then at 1:45pm (2:45am GMT) they will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 9 and 16 bringing an energy for researching and investigating what interests you, so that there is a secure foundation to move forward from. For the next 6 days the Sun will be shining in ‘focus’ and ‘the taming power of the small’, where potential can be fulfilled through detailed attention to all pertinent aspects. And the Earth will be grounding us in ‘skills’ and enthusiasm’ bringing the great art of enriching life by the harmonic channelling of energy.

The Earth will also meet up with Saturn in Gate 48 for the next 6 days, Defining the Spleen and Throat Centres with the Channel of the wavelength, a ‘design of talent’, bringing the logical expression of taste, talent, skill, depth and awareness. And here we get to see how talent is earned through waiting for that one thing that you can give yourself to totally, this is about loving whatever it is enough to become totally absorbed in constant repetition and gradual improvement, until mastery is attained. Through this process the technique can eventually be transcended, becoming an art.

And ‘sensibility’ is in the air today, and this is the fuel for having a logical, balanced and responsible approach to problem solving, which is based in the ability to avoid frustration through understanding and the creation of new forms through generative response. This is where the power that comes through focusing can create new forms to share. Plus ‘delusion’ is grounding us, which is about the expression of false enthusiasm, and is the archetype of the day dreamer, who when operating correctly can understand and express logical talent through daydreaming. The notself will kick in the door in haste, all the while the key is in their pocket, plus they will be expressing fantasy as fact.

At 11:12am (00:12am GMT) the Moon shifts into Gate 29 ‘saying yes’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the abysmal’ which can be seen as the deep within the deep, where persistence despite difficulties has it’s inevitable rewards, which comes through reflection and making sense out of it all. This is the Tantric energy to empower the determination of the self and is the Gate of the generative yes, and fuels perseverance despite circumstances, and if not careful can result in loading up on piles of commitments and responsibilities so that there is something to persevere about. The trick here is to only ever say yes to what is correct, and the secret is waiting, this is a cyclical energy and what is committed to one day, may no longer be of interest the next.

At 8:48pm (9:48am GMT) the Moon shifts into Gate 59 ‘sexuality’ bringing movement and focus to ‘dispersion’, and this is the generative life force that supports the ability to break down barriers to achieve union. Here is also the fuel for expressed sexuality and/or creativity, and being able to break down barriers through response, so as to bring something new to the community. There is also a desire for intimacy which can manifest as anything from shyness, brotherhood/sisterhood, the femme fatale/Casanova, to the one night stand and a few others in between. Waiting is always the key here, jumping into bonds prematurely will only lead to surface intimacy which is never going to be satisfying.

At 6:21am on the 29^th (19:21 GMT on the 28^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.

At 3:24pm (4:24am GMT) Mars shifts into Gate 11 ‘ideas’ bringing maturation and mutation in relation to ‘peace’ which can be sensed as a harmonic and abstract condition both in individuals and society as a whole, and this peace permits for reflection and assessment before renewed action. Also in play is the possibility that emerges through the process of conceptualising, recognising and realising, which can be a difficult process as visual conceptual memory needs to be turned into language before it can be articulated and shared. Also this Gate sees only an aspect of the whole in the now, yet over time it takes in the entire picture, leading to awareness and ideas, just remember that ideas are not facts, they are just possibilities. One of the important aspects of this transit is to see how the process of making sense out of something does not stop at realisation, but is looking for a way to express its mental awareness, which it does through using an idea as a tool to express what has been sensed. Also there can be a lot of mental frustration when ideas do not turn into realities, but by design the fulfilment of an idea is purely in its expression, not action, ideas are not a prescription for action, they are stimulation for reflection.
