Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 5^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 20 and 34 and then at 7:32pm (9:32am gmt) they will shift into the 6^th Lines bringing a theme for being busy gazing out to the horizon, looking for what is coming up next, just don’t trip over what is already at your feet. And ‘wisdom’ is in the air today, and here we recognise unique and individual contemplation which results in the knowing ability to apply understanding. All of which is based in the establishment for the benefit of society, of values, ideals and their patterns and how they can also be understood and applied. Here we see the empowered ability to transform individual awareness for general expression, application and understanding. Plus ‘common sense’ is grounding us, and this is the fuel for knowing when enough is enough. All of which is based in the unique individual good sense that when having bitten off more than one can chew to stop and spit a part of it out. Here we see the restriction of the release of power when one does not have the strength to maintain it in the now. The notself will be motivated by self satisfaction, with enthusiasm overriding better judgement which invariably leads to complications.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 22 and then at 7:43pm (9:43am gmt) she will shift into Gate 36 ‘crisis’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the darkening of the light’ with the potential emotional awareness to see the sense of the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. This brings an abstract potential of recognition through reflection on feelings that leads to the possibility of change, and looking for ways for conceptualisation to manifest directly as action. This can be a destabilising energy for the unaware, and this is where the crisis can arise from. Change and changes in feeling are natural for the abstract experiential process, and the ultimate role is to be the witness who remembers and reflects, as the shift of feelings determines the ending of a cycle, nothing more, and the recognition of this can only come through awareness. If the energy overwhelms this possibility, the change then becomes either something that is dreaded or embraced, both of which fuels expectations and inevitable crisis.

At 7:05am 27^th (21:05gmt 26^th) the Moon shifts into conjunction with Uranus in Gate 25 ‘the spirit of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘innocence’, and the individual perfection of unique action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature. This is where being centred in the now depends on the quality of innocence, and innocence is tested and empowered in the fire of competitive energy. And despite outward appearances the true competition here is whether the self can maintain its unique innocence despite circumstances. This is also the Gate of the shaman/priestess or spiritual warrior who loves all of existence without discrimination, this is where a flower can be loved as profoundly as a human, and this quality of love can be projected as cool or cold, and it is neither. The true mystical potential of this love is both transcendent and universal, and is based in the knowing that the spirit is always being tested. This is also the Gate of scars, which brings the potential of being wounded, exemplified by the warrior fool who leaps empty handed into the void, with only its innocence to carry it, with the hope that it will land on its feet. And yes the spirit can be broken, but triumph and survival enrich the spirit and result in the wonder of being.

At 6:02am 27^th (20:02gmt 26^th) Venus shifts into Gate 2 ‘higher knowing’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘the receptive’ which is all about recognising individual receptivity as being a primal base through which any unique response is determined, and is the root of empowered action through love, identity and direction. This is the most yin or receptive of all the hexagrams and is the archetype of what the ancients would have referred to as the higher self, and is all about direction, not awareness, yes, the gods do love a joke, in that the Centre of the self is unaware, it is just doing what it does, holding us together in the illusion of our separateness and giving us our own unique direction and in turn is filled with the knowing and potential to continue evolving through direction.
