Today's planetary update

Today the Sun and Earth are in the 2nd Lines of Gates 17 and 18, bringing the energy of natural talent that needs to be drawn out into the world in the right way at the right time. Through openness today there is the energy to maintain a very broad spectrum of stimuli, and there will be many and varied opinions expressed on all manner of subjects today. Plus conservatism is in the air, where it's better to take it slowly and gradually modify things so as to avoid eventual upheaval. This is about being able to correct patterns in life through the gradual modification of logical judgements, and still being able to adhere to those traditional patterns that are healthy, despite and or in spite of changing circumstances. The patterns in focus here could be anything from maths to music to computers, anything that operates through some sort of logical pattern. The notself will limit openness, refusing to correct, and rigidity will guarantee deterioration.

The Moon is in Gate 33 ‘retreat', where active withdrawal can transform a weak position into one of strength, as through spending time alone the past can be reflected on and experiences can be processed, ready to be expressed. This is the archetype of the wise story teller, who teaches from the real life wisdom they have accumulated on their journey. Then at 6:38pm she moves into Gate 7 ‘the role of the self', bringing the energy of innate leadership, where a point of convergence is needed so that society can be ordered through wise guidance, ready to move forward. And this type of leadership is not public and up front, it's the power behind the throne so to speak, and any guidance will fall on deaf ears unless it has been invited.

Saturn is still in retrograde motion giving us time to have another look and take in this energy at a different pace, picking up any lessons we missed the first time, as we pass over the same territory again, and Saturn can now be found revisiting Line 3 of Gate 46, ‘projection', and this brings a constrained yet practical approach to good fortune, where the wisdom is in maintaining the same patterns and attitudes that brought success in the first place, and not getting sidetracked by going off looking for more or indulging in further expectations. The notself can get carried away treating projected success as reality and end up in trouble.
