Today's planetary update

Date: 25th April 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

We begin our day here on the east coast of Australia with a continuation of the 3rd Line in Gates/hexagrams 27 and 28, then at 12:57pm they will shift into the 4th Lines bringing an energy of benefitting from connecting with friends and networks. Generosity is in the air, brought about through magnanimous and qualitative sharing and caring, bringing just rewards to those who are genuinely deserving. This is all about having power and strength and using it to facilitate generous sharing, leading to the natural sharing of attained abundance. Plus holding on is a theme, with the ability through whatever means to keep ones grip. This is about the application of knowledge to exploit opportunities for the greater good of all, using a depth of intuition that is at its best when dealing with struggle that leads to being of value to others. The notself will share indiscriminately, losing power and be stubbornly selfish.

The Moon is in Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing into focus oppression as a restrictive and adverse state, which is the result of internal weakness or external stress and more often than not, both. This is all about wanting to find some sort of realisation, through filtering and sorting a myriad of memories, yet realisation can never be forced, as that path can swiftly lead to mental oppression and restriction. Time and patience is required so that realisation can organically emerge in its own abstract way, waiting is the key to mental freedom. Then at 6:03pm she will shift into Gate 6 ‘friction', bringing into focus conflict and its role as a fundamental design component of progress, coming from the natural law that growth cannot exist without friction. This is a strong emotional energy, and boundaries are a theme, looking to a healthy awareness of who is allowed in and who must stay out.

At 3:46pm Mercury's retrograde is picking up speed as it moves into the 3rd Line of Gate 24 ‘the addict', bringing the chance to review communication around how powerful and attractive some of the regressive forms that lead to addiction are. This can be difficult, addiction is no minor matter, however it is possible to ultimately triumph over regression and overcome irrationality. The notself will hide addictions behind a veneer of success.

At 5:34pm Venus shifts into Gate 20 ‘the now', looking at standards and values around contemplation on recognition and awareness in the now, which when the timing is right transforms understanding into right action. This is a purely existential transit, pure and simply being unaware and free of the maia, just being in the now. The notself will be the verbal gunslinger, speaking inappropriately.

At 6:17pm Jupiter shifts into Gate 36 ‘crisis' bring into play the theme of rules and laws around darkening of the light. This is the age old rule of cycles, where decline is a natural but not enduring stage, it is purely an essential part of the cycle. If there is no decline, there is stagnation and no growth. This is a deeply emotional gate, and through the potential of recognition of feelings, change is not only a possibility, it is a natural result of cyclical awareness. The notself will be stuck in crisis and chaos.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
