Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 34 and 20 and at 10:46pm (9:46am GMT) they will shift into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme of making discoveries through a process of trial and error. And ‘machismo’ is in the air, and this is about the unique and indiscriminate display of creative and generative power, all of which is based in a natural and uncontrived machismo that is invariably backed up by knowing and individual power, and in this case it is the display of power that defines any role. Plus ‘self awareness’ is grounding us today, and here we get to see the unique individual understanding that can be derived from the analysis of personal actions and effects. And this is based in the proper attunement and development of the personality through empowered self consciousness, that leads to the expression of self conscious awareness in the now. The notself will have reasoned and calculated displays of power, communicate disinformation, and be self conscious to the extreme.

At 9:08am on the 24^th (22:08 GMT on the 23^rd) the Moon shifts into conjunction with the South Node in Gate 15 ‘extremes’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘modesty’ which is about a certain quality of logical behaviour which in and of itself can lead to finding love, direction and identity through expressing the proper balance between extremes. And modesty in the traditional sense is always a matter of understanding and balancing extremes, and is where all possible extremes are lived out, which could include being busy or not, eating late, then early, sleeping long and short, generally living out and wanting to share all sorts of extremes of rhythm.

At 7:09pm (8:09am GMT) the Moon shifts into Gate 52 ‘inaction’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘keeping still mountain’ where logical, temporary and self imposed inaction is vital to allow for the benefits that assessment and understanding bring. And this is the stillness of deep focused concentration that can be used to channel energy into what is logical. Also this need for stillness can at times be anti social, as concentration benefits from withdrawal, and as this is the fuel for how passive energy functions, lack of focus can lead to restlessness and tension.

At 5:08am on the 25^th (18:08 GMT on the 24^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 39 ‘the provocateur’ bringing movement and focus to ‘obstruction’, and here we get to recognise the unique value of obstruction in provoking individual analysis, assessment and re-evaluation. This is a combative fuel that is looking for knowing, potential emotional awareness and spirit, and this form of provocation is purely about finding the right spirit, and being empowered to provoke it into expression or not. This is also a fuel to persevere, and deal with the moods that provocation releases. And provocation can come in many forms, even doing nothing can provoke someone who does not have the right spirit, and depending on the mood either pain or pleasure can be provoked, even flirting can be a provocation.

At 7:42am on the 25^th (20:42 GMT on the 24^th) Mercury shifts into Gate 11 ‘ideas’ bringing communication in relation to ‘peace’ which can be sensed as a harmonic and abstract condition both in individuals and society as a whole, and this peace permits for reflection and assessment before renewed action. Also in play is the possibility that emerges through the process of conceptualising, recognising and realising, which can be a difficult process as visual conceptual memory needs to be turned into language before it can be articulated and shared. Also this Gate sees only an aspect of the whole in the now, yet over time it takes in the entire picture, leading to awareness and ideas, just remember that ideas are not facts, they are just possibilities. One of the important aspects of this transit is to see how the process of making sense out of something does not stop at realisation, but is looking for a way to express its mental awareness, which it does through using an idea as a tool to express what has been sensed. Also there can be a lot of mental frustration when ideas do not turn into realities, but by design the fulfilment of an idea is purely in its expression, not action, ideas are not a prescription for action, they are stimulation for reflection.
