Today's planetary update

Date: 24th March 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. EDT / GMT +11hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today we have the Sun and Earth in the 6th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 25 and 46, bringing an energy of not wanting to be too involved, sitting back and just observing life with some aloofness and objectivity. Also innocence is a theme and it is something that can be maintained through censoring inappropriate actions, and those who are false innocents will be shown up as their actions will betray them. Plus there is wisdom available to secure the identity through careful consideration of the restrictive potential of commitments, leading to integrity and the determination to say no to those commitments that will end up being restrictive. The notself will be constantly inappropriate, destabilising the spirit, deceiving self and others through overextension of resources.

The Moon is in Gate 52 ‘keeping still', bringing the energy for temporary and self imposed inaction for the benefit of assessment, and there is deep staying power available to fuel focus and concentration. Then at 9:48am she moves into Gate 39 ‘the provocateur', showing us the value of obstruction in provoking analysis, assessment and re-evaluation, this transit will also see the provoking of spirit, and this is to see the quality of spirit available in someone else, and if you find the right spirit you just might fall in love. At 7:29pm she moves into conjunction with the South Node in Gate 53 ‘beginnings', where development needs to be in a structured progression that is both steadfast and enduring. This transit brings a pressure to start something new, regardless of what changes the new cycle may bring, and as long as what is begun is correct, it actually does not need to be finished, if it is meant to be completed someone who has the energy for it will pick it up and finish it.

At 4:48pm Venus moves into Gate 42 meeting up with the South Node in Gate 53, forming the Channel of Maturation, a Design of ‘Balanced Cyclical Development' and Defining the Root and Sacral Centres. This brings a lot of life force to any endeavour, however be cautious what you commit to during this transit as if it not correct for you, and you do not complete it, you will only meet the same problem again later in another form. The right cycles will bring maturity and wisdom, and a deep understanding that life is a journey, not a destination.
