Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.    

Happy Human Design New Year to you! We begin the day still moving through the 1^st Line theme of the new cycle, and then at 6:38pm (7:38am gmt) the Sun and Earth will move into the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 41 and 31 bringing a theme into play of being absorbed in enjoying your natural talents until the right call comes to open up for sharing. And ‘caution’ is in the air today, and this is the fuel for humanism tempered by pragmatism, which could be seen as a conservative nature that does not risk its own security in aiding others. All of which is based in an abstract pressure and energy for recognising, experiencing and sensing one’s own feelings, but not for sharing those of others. Plus ‘arrogance’ is grounding us, and this is about the expression of independent action without logical guidance or understanding, all of which is based in the recognition of and dedication to higher principles that cannot wait for future consensus to be shared. The notself will desire recognition and throw caution to the wind, displaying feeling and depleting valuable resources for temporary gain, with a drive for expression that out of nervous tension arrogantly jumps the gun and misfires.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 64 and at 1:45pm (2:45am gmt) she shifts into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing movement and focus to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.

At 10:55pm (11:55am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 6 ‘friction’ bringing the focus onto ‘conflict’, as the fundamental design component of progress, and this is based in the law of nature that new growth cannot exist without some sort of friction to stimulate it. This is a very complex energy as it has an enormous awareness potential, bringing out feeling, emoting and sensitivity, which are all part of our evolved genetic defence reflex. This is a powerful emotional possibility and is also about supportive boundaries, focusing on who is in and who is out, and developing awareness of the timing of dropping barriers to support intimacy. Also this transit clearly shows that it is only through authentic awareness that the true nature of intimacy can be transformed.

At 8:07am 24^th (21:07gmt 23^rd) the Moon shifts into Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 1:29am 23^rd (14:29gmt 22^nd) Venus shifts into Gate 26 ‘the egoist’, bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘the taming power of the great’ which is about supporting the maximisation of the power of memory so that it can be recognised and applied to the nurturing of manifestation and continuity within the community. This is the Gate of the trickster where will and memory can be manipulated, where based on the dualistic nature of life can result in great lies or great truths, or this could be the archetypal sales or public relations person, who could sell ice to Eskimos. A saying that could exemplify this gate is ‘fools are liars and prophets too, for they can never know if what they say is true. They just have to wait and see.’ This transit's dualism clearly shows up in the sense that from the mouth of the great liar can also come the great truth.  And yes the Heart Centre is not aware, it is pure will powered energy, and the manipulation of memory is inborn and mechanical.

At 8:44pm (9:44am gmt) Jupiter moves into the 3^rd Line of Gate 25 bringing into play rules and laws in relation to individual ‘sensibility’ which is about recognising that unique and innocent action does not in and of itself guarantee success. This is the power of the ego, brought into play through a sense of identity, love and direction that can lead to withstanding failure, all the while still maintaining true to its innate nature. This could also be seen as the resilient power of the individualised spirit to withstand failure and shock. The notself will lose innocence through misfortune, failure and shock.
