Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still making their way through the 1^st Lines of Gates 27 and 28 and then at 8:35pm (10:35am gmt) they will move into the 2^nd Lines bringing a theme for being busy with your natural talents until the right call comes for you to boldly show them off. And ‘self sufficiency’ is in the air today, and here we see the obvious law that to give, one must have. All of which is based in the archetype of the creative generative mother, who is the great nurturer, supporting and defending the power to care with in the community. Plus ‘shaking hands with the devil’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the awareness of a distasteful alliance. All of which is based in the knowing that the means however unsavoury, will be uniquely justified by its end. This is where, when the individual game turns to a struggle, there is the intuitive acceptance of an alliance in order to win in the now. The notself will childishly deplete others resources, anxiously sacrificing higher principles with no guarantee of success.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 58 and then at 1:35pm (3:35am gmt) she will shift into Gate 38 ‘the fighter’ bringing movement and focus to ‘opposition’, and this is about the empowered ability to recognise and preserve individual integrity through opposition to detrimental forces. And here we get to see a powerful pressure and fuel that is at its best when up against the odds, fighting in order to establish a sense of value and unique purpose in life. This Gate loves a good fight, and is always ready to stand up for independence and uniqueness, driven by a deep need to feel a sense of carefreeness in life, and if life is not empowered with a real sense of knowing and value depression can set in. This is also about being stubborn, which is a result of not being here to be influenced by others.

At 11:57pm (13:57gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 54 ‘ambition’ bringing the focus onto ‘the marrying maiden’, supporting and recognising interaction in its mundane social context as well as in mystical and cosmic relationships. This is the archetype of the concubine who becomes empress, embodied in the idea of rising up through the hierarchy of the community, of moving up the ladder, this is the fuel of being driven. And this is a very ambitious transit, which is never a mundane thing, as it is only when the instincts to operate on the mundane plane have been mastered is transformation possible, this is the drive to transform and become something more.

Mercury goes direct at 8:05pm (10:05gmt) in the 4^th Line of Gate 21 where communication will start to move ahead again in ‘strategy’ which is about the careful appraisal of opposing forces to establish a proper response. All of which is based in supporting successful will powered action through clarity. This is the ego power to succeed on the material plane and the instinct to use will power effectively in response to conditions in the community, tribe or family. The notself will ignore instincts and misjudge opponents.
