Today's planetary update

Date: 23rd April 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

We start today still with the Sun and Earth in the 1st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 27 and 28 which I wrote about in yesterday's blog. At 2:45pm they move into the 2nd Lines, bringing an energy of shyness, where it is healthy to stand back until the timing is right, and then the right connections will be made. And self sufficiency is in the air, bringing into play the strength to nurture and the power to care. This could be likened to the archetypal Mother who lives by the law that to be able to give something, one must first have it, or there is nothing to give. Plus this could be a day of distasteful alliances, where the means, even if unsavoury is justified by its end result. This is where when the game turns to struggle, there is an intuitive acceptance of any alliance in order to win, even if it means shaking hands with the devil. The notself will be depleted, weak and sacrifice higher principles.

At 9:35am the Moon moves into Gate 4 ‘youthful folly', bringing the focus onto beguiling and succeeding despite ignorance, and freedom from retribution. There is good fortune in the air, and this is grounded in logic, as to be able to logically substantiate something protects from misjudgement and doubt. Then at 7:12pm she moves into Gate 29 meeting up with Saturn in Gate 46, defining the Sacral and G Centres with the Channel of Discovery, a ‘Design of succeeding where others fail'. This brings a creative life force energy into play, which requires the surrendering of all expectations, and a total abandonment to the journey itself. Then there can be no failure or success, just continual discovery. The notself may just bite off more than they can chew.

At 4:00pm Mars moves into the 3rd Line of Gate 33 ‘spirit', bringing a maturing and mutating energy into play in relation to making a responsible and principled retreat based on preservation, but with a determination to persevere. This is where privacy is the pathway to success, and this is the attitude that can turn retreat into victory. The notself will lack responsibility and burn bridges.

Then at 7:33pm Mercury continues its retrograde journey and moves into the 4th Line of Gate 24 ‘the hermit', bringing a review of communication around discipline and focus that assures renewal. This is where aloneness enriches the potential for rational thought, being the hermit, who by going into isolation accesses transformation. The notself will be stuck in illusion and delusion.
