Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. You can find out more here

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

It is New Moon today at 6:40pm 23rd (7:40am gmt 23rd) in Gate 41, there is more on that in the Lunar updates.

The day begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 1st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 41 and 31 until 00:36am 24th (13:36gmt 23rd) when they will move into the 2nd Lines  bringing a theme into play of being absorbed in enjoying your natural talents until the right call comes to open up for sharing. And ‘caution’ is in the air today, and here we recognise the fuel for the drive for humanism to be tempered by experiential pragmatism, which could be seen as a conservative nature that does not risk its own security in aiding others. All of which is based in an abstract pressure and energy for recognising, experiencing and sensing one’s own feelings, but not for sharing those of others. Plus ‘arrogance’ is grounding us, and this is about the expression of independent transformational action without logical guidance or understanding. And this is based in the recognition of and dedication to higher principles that cannot wait for future consensus to metamorphasise and be shared. The notself will desire recognition and throw caution to the wind, displaying feeling and depleting valuable resources for temporary gain, with a drive for expression that out of nervous tension arrogantly jumps the gun and misfires.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 60 and at 5:27pm 23rd (6:27am gmt 23rd) she shifts into conjunction with the Sun in Gate 41, meeting up with Neptune in Gate 30 adding to the continuing definition of the Root and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of recognition, a ‘design of focused energy’ and this is a powerful emotional drive, bringing movement and focus to abstract dreams and fantasies, and the main lessons here are to not try and make sense of the dreams or to try and make them come true. Also don’t expect emotional desires to bring lasting peace, as true peace is to simply enjoy the dreams themselves. And there is an endless yearning to feel in order to learn as this is where wisdom is gained through exploring all kinds of feelings, and often the way to stir feelings is through sharing dreams and wishes. There can also be a restless or nervousness as a result of this direct connection of a physical pressure Centre to the emotional Centre, and the biggest lesson can be patience and composure. It is also a New Moon today at 6:40pm 23rd (7:40am gmt 23rd) in Gate 41.

At 3:28am 24th (16:28gmt 23rd) the Moon shifts into Gate 19 ‘wanting’ bringing the movement and focus onto ‘approach’ where the fact that all things are interrelated is apparent and manifested through the support and action of approach. This is the fuel for recognising sensitivity and for how our social needs are supported within the community, and with this Gate the remedy for over-sensitivity is to have a full refrigerator. This Gate is the fuel for the mystical way, and brings a spiritual leaning which at the mundane level can be over sensitive and easily disturbed. This is also the fuel of our social needs, where we get to see the drive to make sure that a community exists and that there is a place within the community for this energy to be supported. And this transit brings a certain need, but is not about wanting or needing someone specifically, it is the energy to support and the need to have the support of the community available, based on having social access without restriction.

At 11:32pm 24th (12:32gmt 23rd) The North and South Nodes shift into the 2nd Lines of Gates 5 and 35 bringing a theme to the environmental view of being shyly involved in your own thing until called on to share it. And ‘inner peace’ is setting the stage, and this is about seeing around us the logical ability to ignore the temptation to take premature action, based in the gift of understanding that aids in maintaining composure through idealising tranquillity, which is in turn aided through having the creative generative  power to be comfortable with sharing one’s own rhythm. Plus ‘creative block’ is also part of the stage the environmental view is setting, and here we get to see in play a lack of inspiration, which stops all progress. All of which is about having the sense, attunement and understanding for the abstract vagaries of the muse based in the recognition that expression of creativity is energy that ebbs and flows, resulting in the creative energy for manifestation coming and going. The notself will identify with the view, being it, instead of seeing it, and be constrained and stagnant, with a drive to take action to overcome feelings of emptiness.

At 2:19am 24th (15:19gmt 23rd) Venus shifts into Gate 63 ‘doubt’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to the recognition of ‘after completion’ where in the spiral of life, all ends are beginnings. This is a logical mental pressure that fuels doubt, suspicion and distrust, all of which can be both projected out into the world or turned inward. And when able to find understanding and move past the doubts, this mental pressure can bring logical inspiration. And the process of understanding is an essential process in this life and it begins with doubts, fuelling the pressure of uncertainty that in turn demands proof, facts and substantiation. This is where there is no need to feel uncomfortable with having doubts, as they are the beginning of a process of shared understanding, not an end. The doubt only arises when there is something unclear in the pattern, which is why this is the Gate of questioning, however it is not aware, it is purely looking to establish the validity of a logical pattern so that it can form the basis for sharing and projecting into the future.

At 11:54am 24th (00:54am 24th) Mars turns retrograde in the 1st Line of Gate 6 bringing a review of maturation and mutation in relation to ‘friction’ and ‘conflict’ which are the fundamental design components of any progress, based in the law that growth cannot exist without friction. There is also ‘retreat’ in play, which is about the realisation that wasting valuable resources by trying to defend against overwhelming odds is not courage but folly. This is where we get to see the power of regeneration that can support and embrace retreat as a phase and not a failure, based in the potential emotional awareness and stability to accept conflict within the community. The notself will be plagued with instability and inferiority complexes
