Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

It is the Solstice at 10:38am (23:38gmt 21^st) and the Sun and Earth are still moving through the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 10 and 15 and at 1:36pm (2:36am gmt) they will shift into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme of materially beneficial discoveries coming through a process of trial and error. And ‘the martyr’ is in the air today, and this is about the futile rejection of standards based on a unique, individual and just awareness. All of which is based in the truth seeking martyr as an enduring example, whose behaviour in relation to love, direction and identity is ultimately enshrined, in the now. Plus ‘ego inflation’ is grounding us, and here we get to see the logical risk that modesty once understood and recognised will self destruct, as this is where otherwise negative and contrived modesty is reinforced by recognition and maintained as an effective strategy, based in the extremism of the self as a strategy to share and control the flow. The notself will pursue martyrdom for personal aggrandisement, trying to use harmony as a weapon in problem situations instead of dealing with the root cause.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 52 and at 12:53pm (1:53am gmt) she will shift into Gate 39 ‘the provocateur’ bringing movement and focus to ‘obstruction’, and here we get to recognise the unique value of obstruction in provoking individual analysis, assessment and re-evaluation. This is a combative fuel that is looking for knowing, potential emotional awareness and spirit, and this form of provocation is purely about finding the right spirit, and being empowered to provoke it into expression or not. This is also a fuel to persevere, and deal with the moods that provocation releases. And provocation can come in many forms, even doing nothing can provoke someone who does not have the right spirit, and depending on the mood either pain or pleasure can be provoked, even flirting can be a provocation.

At 10:33pm (11:33am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 53 ‘beginnings’ which brings the focus onto ‘development’, and here we get to see abstract development as a structured progression that is both steadfast and enduring. This is the fuel for steadfastness and the maturation process, and is all about transition and change making sense, so that everything is ready to start a new cycle regardless of the changes that will bring. This transit brings a pressure to continually seek and share new beginnings, which always requires patience. The best way to deal with fluctuations in the intensity of the pressure to start something new is to wait and see, and boredom can set in quite quickly if forced to face the same old situations.

At 8:10am 23^rd (21:10gmt 22^nd) the Moons shifts into Gate 62 ‘detail’ bringing movement and focus to ‘preponderance of the small’, which is all about expressing logical caution, patience and detail to produce understanding and excellence out of limitation. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I think’, which is based in being able to communicate and share concepts from a mechanical capacity for detail. This is where opinions can manifest as words, and things can be given their names, solidifying their existence in the Maia, which aids the collective in understanding the world, as without names, there can be no understanding or sharing, this is the Gate of the development of language which is the common ground for sharing of the human experience.

At 8:00am 23^rd (21:00gmt 22^nd)Jupiter moves into the 4^th Line of Gate 36 ‘espionage’ bringing rules and laws in relation to the abstract ability to sense, prepare for and anticipate decline through the accumulation of abstract, secret and privileged information. Here we get to see the potential emotional awareness and realisation that knowledge both covert and esoteric is necessary, especially if one is to be prepared for experiencing crisis and change. The notself will be the double agent selling out to the highest bidder.
