Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. We start off the day still in the 6^th Line themes, and at 6:13pm (8:13am GMT) the Sun and the Earth will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 46 and 25 bringing a theme for introspection, investigation and research to create a secure foundation.

And for the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘the determination of the self’ and ‘pushing upward’, bringing into play good fortune that may be perceived as the result of serendipity, but derives from both effort and dedication. And the Earth is grounding us in ‘the spirit of the self’ and ‘innocence’, and here we get to see the perfection of action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature. The Earth is also conjunct Jupiter and Uranus, adding some rules and sidetracks to the mix. And ‘being discovered’ is in the air today, which is about having the dedication, love and direction in obscurity that in turn leads to being unexpectedly discovered. Here we can see the sense of pure art for art’s sake, where any creative endeavour that is self fulfilling sooner or later will be recognised and shared, through the abstract potential for creative success that comes through dedication. Plus ‘selflessness’ is grounding us, and here we get to see unique individuated motiveless action, based in the knowing and universalisation of activity in relation to love, direction and identity. This is where psychic attunement is self empowered and its own reward, leading to the potential for centring through attunement to challenges. The notself will be determined to benefit from the success of others, insecure in times of challenge.

The Moon is still in Gate 55 and at 5:55pm (7:55amGMT) she will shift into Gate 37 ‘friendship’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the family’ and the support for the manifestation macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. There is also a potential emotional awareness with this very social and communal energy, recognising and focusing sensitivity ready for communal expression. And there is also the possibility of offering friendship and support to others, however the friendship offered through this Gate is never free of an underlying emotionally based bargain, and is always seeking loyalty and looking for a promise of loyalty in return. If this Gate had an archetype it would be those outstretched arms that are ready to embrace and hug, as there is possible awareness supported through the actual touch, not so much in the energy to embrace.

At 5:18am on the 22^nd (19:18GMT on the 21^st)  the Moon shifts into Gate 63  ‘doubt’ bringing the focus onto the recognition of ‘after completion’ where in the spiral of life, all ends are beginnings. This is a logical mental pressure the fuels doubt, suspicion and distrust, all of which can be both projected out into the world or turned inward. And when able to find understanding and move past the doubts, this mental pressure can bring logical inspiration. And the process of understanding is an essential process in this life and it begins with doubts, fuelling the pressure of uncertainty that in turn demands proof, facts and substantiation. This is where there is no need to feel uncomfortable with having doubts, as they are the beginning of a process of shared understanding, not an end. The doubt only arises when there is something unclear in the pattern, which is why this is the Gate of questioning, however it is not aware, it is purely looking to establish the validity of a logical pattern so that it can form the basis for sharing and projecting into the future.

At 00:45am on the 22^nd (14:45GMT on the 21^st) the North and South Nodes move into the 5^th Lines of Gates 58 and 52 shifting our view to one of projection in relation to ‘defence’ which is about recognising the natural and practical instinct and understanding to protect oneself regardless of temptations. This is the logical fuel for self defence regardless of shared stimulations. Plus ‘explanation’ is also a theme, where in times of inaction, the often important ability, to logically explain one's position can be useful. This can also be seen as the often terse but exceedingly accurate statement, as inaction and focus can lead to detail. The notself view will assume the best defense is a good offense, losing focus and detail.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
