Today's planetary update

We begin our day with the Sun and Earth in the 3rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 25 and 46, bringing the energy of bumping into life and discovering all sorts of new things. Sensibility is in the air, where the power of the ego can withstand failure and still maintain its nature, learning from the experience. There is a power in the spirit to be able to withstand shock and failure, with the recognition that no matter how innocent or motiveless the action is, success is not guaranteed. There is also projection around, where a practical approach to good fortune is needed so that the same patterns and attitudes that brought success in the first place are maintained. This is about not getting sidetracked by indulging in further expectations, or mind trips, it's about having the determination to stay with what has already proved to bring success. The notself will lose innocence through misfortune and crime, full of egoism, treating projected success as a reality. The Sun is still meeting up with Venus, Defining the Heart/Ego Centre and the ‘G' Centre, bringing a focus on love, direction, will and spirit.

The Moon is in Gate 8 ‘contribution', bringing the energy where basic worth is realised through contributing individual efforts to group goals, and there will be knowing around how to draw people's attention to the truth, standing up and getting their attention. Then at 11:42am she moves into Gate 20 ‘contemplation', bringing the energy of recognition and awareness in the now which transforms understanding into right action, and it's all in the timing, the awareness can only be transformed into action through the right timing, it can't be forced. At 9:58pm she moves into Gate 16 ‘enthusiasm', bringing focus onto the great art of enriching life through the harmonic channelling of energy, where through enthusiasm for something, discipline can be applied and eventual mastery attained.

The North and South Nodes have moved into the 3rd Line of Gates 54 and 53, and the nodes are all about our environment, what they bring into play is to be seen, not identified with or become. This is an ambitious energy that drives interaction in the most mundane social context, as well as in our mystical and cosmic relationships. There will be covert interaction going on, where if stymied in formal relationships, secret or purely informal channels will be used, as the last resort. This is all about the ambitious drive, that when blocked will turn to secret means to fuel ambition. And beginnings and development are in the air, where development is a structured progression, and leads to something steadfast and enduring. Naturalness and practicality bring a concentration on avoiding conflict to ensure protection and continued development, eliminating pressure. The notself will think it can overcome everything using the power of attraction, insisting it can ‘make it happen' which will only fail, unconsciously provoking conflict that will threaten security and development.
