Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

It’s Solstice time again, at 3:16am 22^nd (17:16 gmt 21^st). This is the seasonal marker for Winter and the longest night here in the southern hemisphere, and Summer and the longest day for the northern hemisphere, here is a link to the workings of a Solstice.

The day starts out with the Sun and Earth still in the very early stages of the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 15 and 10, and then at 6:26am 22^nd (20:26gmt 21^st) they move into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme for developing resilience through a process of trial and error which can also lead to materially beneficial discoveries. And ‘ego inflation’ is in the air today, and this is the generative risk that modesty once logically recognised and understood will self destruct. All of which is based in this otherwise negatively contrived modesty being transformed and reinforced by empowered recognition which allows it to be maintained as an effective strategy. This is where we get to see the extremism of the self as a strategy to control life, love direction and identity for the future. Plus ‘the martyr’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the futile individual rejection of standards based on a just awareness in relation to love, direction and identity. All of which is based in the archetype of the martyr as a unique and enduring example whose behaviour is ultimately enshrined. This is where self empowered knowing and integrated behaviour is ultimately challenged by others in the now. The notself will have an ' told you so' mentality, actively pursuing martyrdom for personal aggrandisement

The Moon is this moving through Gate 55 and at 6:02pm (8:02am gmt) she moves into Gate 37 ‘friendship’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the family’ and the support for the manifestation macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. There is also a potential emotional awareness with this very social and communal energy, recognising and focusing sensitivity ready for communal expression. And there is also the possibility of offering friendship and support to others, however the friendship offered through this Gate is never free of an underlying emotionally based bargain, and is always seeking loyalty and looking for a promise of loyalty in return. If this Gate had an archetype it would be those outstretched arms that are ready to embrace and hug, as there is possible awareness supported through the actual touch, not so much in the energy to embrace.

At 5:09am 22^nd (19:09gmt 21^st) the Moon shifts into Gate 63 ‘doubt’ bringing movement and focus onto the recognition of ‘after completion’ where in the spiral of life, all ends are beginnings. This is a logical mental pressure that fuels doubt, suspicion and distrust, all of which can be both projected out into the world or turned inward. And when able to find understanding and move past the doubts, this mental pressure can bring logical inspiration. And the process of understanding is an essential process in this life and it begins with doubts, fuelling the pressure of uncertainty that in turn demands proof, facts and substantiation. This is where there is no need to feel uncomfortable with having doubts, as they are the beginning of a process of shared understanding, not an end. The doubt only arises when there is something unclear in the pattern, which is why this is the Gate of questioning, however it is not aware, it is purely looking to establish the validity of a logical pattern so that it can form the basis for sharing and projecting into the future.

At 4:56pm (6:56am gmt) Mercury shifts into Gate 39 meeting up with Neptune in Gate 55 Defining the Root and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of emoting, a ‘design of moodiness’. Bringing communication into play in relation to the veiling of recognising this powerful individual emotional pressure to fuel unique emotional awareness through provoking the right spirit. And the key is to learn to appreciate life’s lows as much as you love the highs. Also through letting go of wanting to control love, real freedom and knowing can be found in the now.

At (7:03am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 20 meeting up with the Earth in Gate 10 Defining the Throat and ‘G’ Centres with the Channel of awakening, a ‘design of commitment to higher principles’ bringing maturation and mutation to grounding self expressed love, direction and identity, where there is nothing more important or self empowering in life than the recognition that to be yourself, regardless of the perceived cost is your highest priority. And purely by loving yourself and going your own way, following your own knowing in the now, you can in turn empower others, as expressing self love and self acceptance, leads to survival through perfected self expression, which can only be shared when invited.
