Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins with the Sun and Earth still in the earlier stages of the 1st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 10 and 15, and then at 9:23pm (10:23am gmt) they will move into the 2nd Lines  bringing an energy for shyly being absorbed in your natural talents until called onto to boldly share them. And ‘the hermit’ is in the air, and this is about the individual successfully sidestepping unique behavioural requirements through centred isolation. Here integrated mental functions can enrich and empower aloneness and knowing, and lead to finding love, identity and direction via independent behaviour in individuated isolation in the now. Plus ‘influence’ is grounding us today, and here we get to see logical modesty and right action that result in shared understanding and enduring standards. All of which is based in the capacity and love, direction and identity of the creative generative self to accept its extreme nature as correct for the future. The notself will be the angry exile, using extremes to control or influence.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 28 and at 10:12am 21st (23:12gmt 20th) she shifts into Gate 44 ‘alertness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘coming to meet’, highlighting the awareness that the success of any interaction is based on support and the absence of any preconditions. This Gate is specifically about the recognition of instinctive memory, which operates in the now and is cued by experience.  And this is a capitalistic energy, which is based in having the instinct and memory to transmit one's ego to the tribe. Here we also get to see the purely instinctive memory that cannot be called forward, but operates in the now and is cued by patterns in experience, and carries an alertness to the patterns of life. This is a Gate of individual loyalty offering its memory resources in return for the promise of the support and benefits of the ego's willpower.

At 7:29pm (8:29am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 1  bringing movement and focus to ‘the creative’ and here we see creation as a unique and primal force, as it brings the empowered energy potential to manifest individual inspiration and direction without limitation. This is the yangest of all the hexagrams, and is a powerful energy that demands attention as there is a deep need for recognition and to express individual creative identity. And this can be seen as a deeply creative energy based in empowered unique individual creative expression. The role of this sort of creativity is all about doing your own thing, which may become an example of a new direction to others, if recognised as valuable, otherwise the drive to express one's unique knowing and individuality is not always appreciated.

At 4:45am 22nd (17:45gmt 21st) the Moon shifts into Gate 43 insight’ bringing movement and focus to ‘breakthrough’ where in order for individual achievement to be maintained, through awareness a new order must be fairly established and empowered. This is where breakthrough comes through the individual insights found through the inner ear that listens only to its own inner voice. This is the Gate of the inner ear, which can be deaf to outside influences, so there can be difficulty listening to outside forces, and this is a genetic protection from undue influence, which can make any learning difficult, and the only way to learn is simple steps right from the very beginning, as to learn real knowing as an individual a unique step by step approach is best. There is also the possibility to transform rationalised inner truth into an insight, a unique perspective, or individual mental knowing, which if it is not backed up by facts, may be merely delusional. It takes fortitude, strength and courage to stand behind uniqueness, with the possibility of finally shaping an awareness, and then once fully conceptualised, there is a need to wait for access to expression and manifestation.

At 12:22pm (1:22am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing maturation and mutation to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.
