Today's planetary update

Date: 21st April 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Ok, this is a rather long post, the planets are very busy today, so here we go!

We start our day with the Sun and Earth in the 5th Lines of the Incarnation Cross of Wishes, bringing into play the energy of looking to be a leader or for leadership to be able to move into the future. This is all about wishing for new or better laws to support the community, and during this transit old laws that need to be replaced can come to light. Now this can bring some tension with it, as some people will resist the change, and some will always challenge what already exists, especially if they think they can see a better way.

Then at 4:37pm the Sun and Earth move into the 6th Lines of Gate/hexagrams 3 and 50, bringing into play an energy which can have us looking off to the horizon and what is next, all the while tripping over the gifts at our feet. This transit shows that as the Sun's light sustains us, so life goes on. This is about surrendering to the innate acceptance that the natural ordering of life is a process, not a problem. Once this is accepted this leads to the ultimate maturity and being able to recognise when struggle is futile. Plus there is the gift that when in a position of power, harmony can be maintained even in severity. And through having the strength to maintain ones values with vigour, harmonic relationships with others can continue. The notself will be overwhelmed, confused, moody and offensive.

The Moon is in still in Gate 53, which I wrote about yesterday, and at 9:49am she moves into Gate 62 ‘preponderance of the small', bringing the focus onto caution, patience and detail leading to producing excellence out of limitation. Plus there is energy for concretising what is a mental visualisation into verbal expression, where opinions manifest as words. Then at 7:30pm she moves into Gate 56 ‘the wanderer', bringing the focus onto stability through movement, which comes from the perpetuation of continuity through the linking of short term activity. All the while looking for ways to turn abstract concepts into language, and its important to remember that an idea is never a final solution, it is just a part of, or a catalyst for the journey.

Mercury has now retrograded back into the 5th Line of Gate 24 'confession', bringing the energy for reviewed communication around the practical value of starting with a clean slate, bringing into play rational correction that opens the way for new possibilities, and the courage to admit mistakes of the past. The notself will minimalise and irrationally justify past mistakes.

Venus has shifted into Gate 8 ‘holding together', bringing energy to the standards and values around our basic worth being realised through contributing individual efforts to group goals. There can be the expression of the possibilities brought through individuality, as the individual will know which direction is best, and doesn't care who does or doesn't follow them.

Mars has move into the 2nd Line of Gate 33 ‘surrender', bringing a maturing and mutating energy to the recognition that surrender to superior forces can be an opportunity to expand one's own strengths and eventually triumph. This is all about embracing powerful forces in order to lay the foundation for future success. The notself will be delusional and resentful.

Jupiter has shifted into the 6th Line of Gate 22 ‘maturity' bringing the energy of rules and laws together with natural and evident leadership and authority, where the possibility that the right experiences in social interaction will result in leadership capacity. And all of this must be grounded in the alignment with experience of form and substance. The notself will be non conformist.

Neptune has moved into the 5th Line of Gate 30 ‘the clinging fire', bringing the veils of illusion to hide the strength derived from the knowledge and experience that two steps forward and one step back is still one step forward. Also embracing the irony that each new feeling brings back an old feeling before progress can take place. As through recognition of what has already been experienced there can be a dedication to transitory goals. The notself will eliminate progress out of anger and frustration.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
