Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth in the early stages of the 5th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 60 and 56 which is in yesterdays blog, and then at 4:14am 22nd (17:14gmt 21st) they move into the 6th Lines bringing a theme for resting a recuperating, ready for the next phase, this is the very last step before we shift into the new cycle for the year. And ‘rigidity’ is in the air today, and this is the pressure driven energy for the individual and uniquely empowered intuitive intellect that recognises when absolute rigidity is essential, but can apply it with creative and innovative applications to lessen the severity. All of which is based in a fixed energy that is unusual in its knowing capacity for restraint in the now. Plus ‘caution’ is grounding us, and this is about the sense and prudence, that when linkage has been achieved, to honour these new commitments in order to secure its footing. All of which is based in recognising and experiencing abstract honesty in the expression of past experience, that brings transformation that leads to living by one’s own accord. The notself will be dogmatic, uncompromising, and even coldly brutal in its severity, wandering aimlessly and creating rejection.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 10 and at 4:21pm 21st (5:21am gmt 21st) she will shift into conjunction with Pluto in Gate 58 ‘aliveness’ bringing movement and focus to the truth of ‘the joyous’, where logical understanding and stimulation is the key to joy. This is fuel for taste, both physically and metaphorically and is also the Gate of vitality, bringing a zest for life and living, looking for ways to share and create a better life, which is most often done by using criticism to challenge conditioning and improve on it. All of this challenging and drive for improvement is anchored in not being satisfied in the now, always looking toward the future. Also there is a real love of life that creates a strong drive to be of service to the wider community in some way, as there is a strong pressure to commit energy to a process even though there is a lack of awareness as to what and where.

At 2:04am 22nd (15:04gmt 21st) the Moon shifts into Gate 38 ‘the fighter’ bringing movement and focus to ‘opposition’, and this is about the empowered ability to recognise and preserve individual integrity through opposition to detrimental forces. And here we get to see a powerful pressure and fuel that is at its best when up against the odds, fighting in order to establish a sense of value and unique purpose in life. This Gate loves a good fight, and is always ready to stand up for independence and uniqueness, driven by a deep need to feel a sense of carefreeness in life, and if life is not empowered with a real sense of knowing and value depression can set in. This is also about being stubborn, which is a result of not being here to be influenced by others.

At 11:49am 22nd (00:49am gmt 22nd) the Moon shifts into Gate 54 ‘ambition’ bringing the focus onto ‘the marrying maiden’, supporting and recognising interaction in its mundane social context as well as in mystical and cosmic relationships. This is the archetype of the concubine who becomes empress, embodied in the idea of rising up through the hierarchy of the community, of moving up the ladder, this is the fuel of being driven. And this is a very ambitious transit, which is never a mundane thing, as it is only when the instincts to operate on the mundane plane have been mastered is transformation possible, this is the drive to transform and become something more.

At 10:47am 22nd (23:47gmt 21st) Mercury shifts into Gate 61  ‘mystery’ bringing comunication into play in relation to ‘inner truth’ and the empowered unique awareness of recognising universal underlying principles. This is a mental pressure to resolve individual mystery and find inspiration, and this can fuel and empower unique knowing, or it can lead to delusion and madness. The pressure of both the unknown and knowable haunts the thinker's mind, wanting to really know the absolute. And this pressure can last a life time, and the key is to remember that the ultimate potential of recognising inner truth comes with silence.
