Today's planetary update

Date: 20th July 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs (note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

The Sun and Earth are still making their way through the 1st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 56 and 60 (details in yesterday's blog) and then at 12:47pm they will move into the 2nd lines bringing an energy for enjoying being absorbed in what you love until you are called on to share it. And ‘linkage' is in the air today, which is about the isolated genius that will eventually find continuity and expression through recognition and support after reflection. This is the genius for stimulating abstract expression that will take time to mature and will need to be shared with others who recognise it. Plus ‘decisiveness' is grounding us today, and this is all about understanding the unique nature of limitation, so as to be able to accept and adapt to its restraints when necessary. And to then be able to take advantage of empowering opportunities for individuated adaptation when they arise. The notself will be superficial and stuck.

The Moon is moving through Gate 1 ‘self expression' bringing movement and focus to ‘the creative', where creation is a primal force with the empowered energy potential to manifest inspiration without limitation. This is about demanding attention and the deep need to express one's identity and uniqueness, which comes about through the creativity found by following a unique direction. At 1:25pm she will move into Gate 43 ‘insight' bringing the focus onto ‘breakthrough' where in order for individual achievement to be maintained a new order must first be fairly established. It's a good day to keep it simple, begin at the beginning, and then rationalised inner truth can be empowered and transformed into unique perspective and insight. And at 11:41pm she will move into Gate 14 ‘power skills' bringing the focus onto ‘possession in great measure' which is based on the accumulation and retention of power through skilled individual interactions, coupling grace with control. This is the generative fuel to empower the self, the Tantra of self empowered generative life force.

The Moon is moving through all Individual Circuit Gates, plus Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, Earth, Uranus, North and South Nodes are also in Gates of the Individual Circuit. And this brings the potential for creativity, mutation and melancholy, so if things seem a bit stuck, listen to your favourite music, and wait for the butterfly to emerge from its cocoon.

Then at 6:49pm Mercury moves into Gate 4 ‘formulisation' bringing logical communication in relation to ‘youthful folly', this is the energy to beguile and succeed despite ignorance, being blessed with freedom from retribution. And there is good fortune in the air, based in a grounded logical path where things are substantiated in fact, before the understandings can be shared.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
