Today's planetary update

Today the Sun & Earth in line 2 of Gates/hexagrams 55 and 59 brings the energy where you will have no idea that people see what you are good at doing as being valuable, until they call you to come and hang out with them. And abundance is purely a question of the quality of spirit, but it can be hampered by slander or gossip. This Gate and Line brings the gift of being able to penetrate to the centre of something and then demonstrate effectively, that its trustfulness is genuine and true, and when others see this they can then trust in you, and this results in emotional stability and strength of spirit. Plus there is the energy to have the ability to break down invisible barriers to achieve union, and this is tempered with shyness today, which is healthy, because a preferred and natural separateness protects us against the inevitable instability engendered by union. This is where restricting sexual intimacy to maintain separateness until the timing is right leads to healthy and deep intimacy.

The notself will be like that quote from the Bard: ‘me thinks he doth protest too much' being overly defensive in the face of slander, and as a result of distrust, emotions will be unstable and the spirit weakened. Plus self imposed barriers and calculated shyness will restrict interaction, even in dynamic individuals.

We start the day with the Moon in Gate 27, ‘caring and nourishment', bringing the enhancement of the quality and substance of all activities through the right caring, and remember the old saying: ‘you must draw from the well to nourish yourself before you can give to others' meaning take care of yourself first, or you will be of no use to others. Then at 12:24pm she moves into Gate 24 ‘rationalisation', bringing the natural and spontaneous process of transformation and renewal. The mind will be turning thoughts over and over, looking to try and rationalise whatever it is in order to provide inspiration. And then at 22:58pm she moves into Gate 2 ‘higher knowing' where receptivity is the primal base through which any response is determined, and the knowing is about direction, like the acorn that knows how to become the oak tree, just don't try to do it all yourself or you will just end up frustrated and exhausted.
