Today's planetary update

We begin today with the Sun and Earth still in the 3^rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 29 and 30, which I wrote about in yesterday's blog and then at 8:28pm (10:29am GMT) they will move into the 4^th Lines bringing an opportunistic theme of friendly networking with friends and acquaintances. And ‘directness’ is in the air today, where the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. This brings the abstract wisdom to use the simplest and most direct approach to solve difficulties once sensed, and also leads to using generative power in response to commit oneself to the simplest and most direct process for sharing. Plus ‘burnout’ is grounding us today, and this is about recognising that an unrealistic pace begs misfortune. This could be seen as a compulsive and hyperactive nature that carries all the earmarks of burnout but does not necessarily arrive at it, as a positive outcome is often assisted through reflection and analysis. Or if senses are ignored there is the potential for highly energised abstract feelings leading to emotional collapse. The notself will be frustrated, disharmonic, aesthetically crude, bitter, uncontrollably expanding and inevitably bursting the bubble.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 58 which I wrote about yesterday, and at 6:52pm (8:52am GMT) she will shift into conjunction with the North Node in Gate 38 ‘the fighter’ bringing movement and focus to ‘opposition’, and the empowered ability to preserve individual integrity through opposition to detrimental forces. This is a fuel to fight for unique knowing at an individual level, to be able to recognise and know what in life is of value. Also this can be a very misunderstood energy with the fighter shunned as an outsider. At 5:58am on the 21^st (19:58 GMT on the 20^th) she shifts into Gate 54 ‘ambition’ bringing the focus onto ‘the marrying maiden’, supporting and recognising interaction in its mundane social context as well as in mystical and cosmic relationships. This is the archetype of the concubine who becomes empress, embodied in the idea of rising up through the hierarchy of the community, of moving up the ladder, this is the fuel of being driven.

At 5:58am on the 21^st (19:58 GMT on the 20^th) Mercury goes retrograde in the 3^rd Line of Gate 47 bringing reviewed communication in relation to ‘self oppression’, recognising the conscious and well integrated being who through sensing, reflection and natural right action will eventually come to see the unfoundedness of oppression, leading to the eventual abstract conceptualisation and realisation that it is all really okay. The notself will have extreme difficulty in realising any self worth.
